Pillsbury Orange Rolls with Cinnabon Cinnamon and Orange Icing, 8 Count, 13.9 oz

Mom used to make these on Thanksgiving morning and Christmas Eve mornings for us. But neither my Mom or I were ever to figure out how to keep the bottoms for burning. Until I stumbled on a sure fire method. Crumble up a sheet of aluminum foil, spread it out, but don't flatten the wrinkles, place the rolls on the foil, bake for about 13 to 15 minutes and they come out golden brown all over.

I have loved the scent and flavor of the orange frosting since i can remember . The quality of the dough has changed . Nine times out of ten when the carboard container pops open the rolls are torn. Most times they do not seperate well into individual rolls. i re-roll them to make large double sized rolls. I fool myself that I am eating two rolls not four. (my half) the quality of the cinnamon is average. it does compliment the finished product. i dont realky care that they fly apart when the container pops. i am going to re-roll them anyway. The baked off dough is just a vehicle for the orange frosting . i always cheat and put more trosting on my two rolls. . Double sized rolls have a lovely soft cemter . .

i'm not in the mood for orange icing cinnamon rolls very often but when I am, watch out. I live alone so I only cook 4 or 5 of the 8. while they are cooking I slightly warm the icing. when the rolls are done, I cut them in 1/2 and dip them in the orange icing. omg, SO GOOD. then I get a big glass of milk..., there are some downsides to living alone but the upside is eating these the way you like them and no one knows!!!! heaven!!!!!

I’ve been a huge fan of these since the ‘Aha’ moment when I first tasted them many, many years ago. I’m guessing at least 50 years ago, maybe longer. The taste sensation and mouthfeel are incredible! Warm, sweet and divine. Few things in life bring this except for the succulence of lobster tail and drawn butter, milk chocolate, a great pizza, your favorite ice cream…. These are on par with the best cinnamon rolls. My kitchen is filled with their aroma, and I grow impatient waiting for them to come out of the oven.

We are elderly and having our groceries delivered is such a blessing. My husband has dementia and I have bad knees, so the delivery is a life saver. Everyone that has picked out groceries has done a great job! Thanks everyone!

I usually love these rolls, but the last 2 cans I bought must have been either spoiled or contaminated because the icing smelled “skunky” that is the most accurate way of describing it. It was so bad that when I first opened the rolls i actually looked outside thinking a skunk was in my yard. It was both cans in this order so it might just be a bad batch. I opened them a day after purchase and neither were expired.

These are absolutely disgusting. They have a taste of metal. They don’t remotely resemble orange. Stick with the regular cinnamon rolls. I don’t even want to know what is in these.

My family used to faithfully eat these orange rolls several times a year, it was a family tradition we have passed down three generations but no more! The last two batches were just awful. One batch looked strange when the package was opened and both batches the orange icing just did not taste the same. We used to eat them as a midnight snack in addition to holidays. The last two times we threw them out to the raccoons. They loved them!

These are marketed as orange-flavored, but they are not. I was expecting a flavor like orange cake, but instead these taste like those NASTY Flintstones push-up ice creams we had in the '70s and '80s. They are DISSSGUSSSSTIIIING! Pillsbury needs to mark on the package that these are NOT orange flavored but are nasty Flinstone flavored!

Nov %26 Dec 2025 Three separate cans. Smells similar to burnt coffee, or hot curling iron. The taste recently is awful.
