I love all Pilot Frixion pens and highlighters!!! I love writing things and love a "good pen", which was the case when I first started using them years ago before I ever even realized they were erasable! The last time I had used an erasable pen, they did not write smooth or erase completely - NOT the case with these at all!!! They are fun to write with and glide well without skipping and the eraser works phenomenal. I also love that they are refillable and that the eraser doesn't wear down with use. This is the first pack of the Synergy version I've bought and tried and I think I love them even more than the originals!! Love the extra fine tip because it's fine without feeling like what I wrote doesn't stand out. Plus the colors are a little deeper which I like. I have a Rocketbook notebook and all the Frixion erasable pens work like perfection in them, however I tend to mostly write on just regular paper. The colors are great too, as I love to write in different colors to make things stand out but the "regular" Frixion pen colors have nice deeper tones that aren't too bright and provide good contrast to read the writing easily (even with the fine tip!). The only drawbacks I have found is that they are pricey compared to other pens and even other erasable ones and that if you don't use them for a while they dry out on you! I have tried putting them in the freezer, as recommended, with almost no success. So my excitement early on with these pens and subsequent purchase of what seemed like every color and type they had to offer, led me to sadly have to trash most of them not much longer afterwards. Now I just buy them in much smaller quantities and periodically give them all a swirl on paper to make sure they keep their juices flowing!!! Just make sure you use them if you buy them and aren't planning on throwing them in a drawer for "one day" or you might be disappointed. But once you start using them, I admit it's hard to switch to something else, unless of course something written NEEDS to be permanent. I hope they come out with warmer, earthy toned highlighters soon, as I feel that's the only thing missing for me. And FYI, their highlighters work great over these pens without smearing! Just give the ink a few seconds to dry and swipe the erasable highlighter over top and voila!
I've tried quite a few eraseable pens and have had many that I've been disappointed and frustrated with, but I love these ones so far! I decided to stick with Pilot Frixion since I've had better experiences with this brand than others, but these ones ate even better! not quite sure yet...maybe it's the extra fine tip (0.5mm)? I just got them today and tried them, so I can't speak to longevity or anything beyond first impression, but I was sold when i first tried them. I intend on repurchasing these exact ones again. I primarily use them for work - in my appointment book, as changes are always happening and this is much cleaner than scribbling things out or using any sort of whiteout. I'd definitely recommend if you want a nice eraseable pen and are a 'gel pen snob' like myself 😂
I love this brand of pens— they write smoothly and erase cleanly. Just have to be careful if you put something hot on your paper it can cause the ink to disappear. Spilling hot tea or any kind of hot liquid on it will absolutely make all your writing disappear, but that's user error
I'm a server and these pens don't disappoint! I love the flow of the ink and having an eraser is a bonus. If you're looking for a retractable pen that writes smoothly and also erases, this is the one!
great for note taking and underlining. fun and colorful and erases well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a “pen” person, I LOVE these! The versatility is unmatched, they write very well, erase 90% and fit the hand nicely. Nicely packaged and easy to find in the store. Love the assembly in the clicking mechanism being in the clip. Only drawback I see may be a maintenance issue with that clip, it could possibly click accidentally in a pocket or purse. I am actually buying them again today!
The pens write smoothly, don't easily smug and erase completely. my only complaint is they seem to run out of ink quickly. A word if caution, ink disappears when it comes into contact with heat.
They're great IT does erase but I ran out of ink really fast Faster than I should
These ink pens eraser well bit the pens run out of ink or dries out to quick. Other wise I like the pens and are satisfied paying a little extra.
Pens are great, but buy them elsewhere because Walmart doesn’t actually have them in stock. Walmart is also testing a failure of a push notification scheme that will flood you with constant updates on the false delivery date of an order they have told you they have canceled because the item is not in stock. Just an exercise in frustration
