Pilot G2 Mechanical Pencil 0.7 mm, HB #2 Lead, Assorted Barrel Colors, 5 Count

This is my review on the Pilot G2 G-2 Mechanical Pencils, 5/Pack (Quantity). My kids refuse to use the old fashioned #2 pencils now since they figured out how great these mechanical pencils are. These are a good brand of products and the Pilot brand has been around a long time. The lead in these pencils seem to be stronger and longer lasting than a regular pencil. This package of pencils came in cool and different colored outer shell and they are not just plain and it makes it easier to keep up with.

These are great pencils! Pilot is dependable and it's my "go to" brand for office supplies. The pencil barrel is very smooth and is a comfortable size, neither too thick nor too thin. I really like the cushioned grip. While working remotely from home for at least 8 hours daily (without my trusty 10-key) these pencils get a lot of use and comfort matters. The feed mechanism is placed conveniently at the top and the push button works well. The eraser is soft and while it doesn't entirely remove what I've written it isn't so abrasive that it damages the paper either. I find this more important. I also like the fun colors and the fact that the package thoughtfully includes both extra leads and additional erasers. The leads and erasers are very easy to reload. I tried everything in the package after taking pics. My grandsons tried them too. They liked them and had no problems other than wanting an orange colored one, lol.

I use these for game night with my friends every week. They are very comfortable to hold and I haven't had any issues with them snapping the lead. At first I didn't like how small the erasers were, but the pack comes with replacements. I haven't had any issues with the erasers drying out and getting hard and brittle like you see with some brands, and these actually have caps that go over the erasers keep it from getting worn down in someone's pocket. I plan on getting more.

I received the Pilot G2 G-2 Mechanical Pencils, 5 / Pack ,these are fantastic great structure,writes really well .comes with more lead to refill .These will come in handy for upcoming school season my kids are required to have these I will be purchasing more of these . My son loves to draw/design items that he 3D prints so he got to try these mechanical pencils out.They do come in a pack of 6, the leads seem to stand up well to Pressure and don't snap easily, the pencil Case itself is very comfortable with the rubber grip which helps with hand fatigue. It also comes with a lead refill and a handy eraser on the top of each pencil.

The pencils feel nice in your had due to the grip around the barrel. Cute colors! The lead advances smoothly when clicking the button. There is a nice top on the eraser, but that will probably be very easy to loose. The package comes with a little container of extra lead and 3 eraser refills. The only thing I did not care for was the lead is not very dark when you write or draw with it.

I use mechanical pencils to draw plans for the multitude of home projects we do. I've stuck with the same ones, a different brand, for over a decade because I'm a creature of habit. I was offered these as part of a reviewer program hence my trying out a new brand. I have to say I'm super impressed! The pencil lead is a #2 HB which is super resilient yet not so thick it looks like you wrote with a wide kid's pencil. The lead is also very dark which is a huge plus. The erasers work really well. I usually use a gum eraser but these work even better. They removed the lead lines easily without having to scrub which damages the paper. The pack comes with extra eraser heads & 12 extra leads. The erasers are soft yet long lasting.. another point that impressed me. Also you have the ability to buy replacement erasers independent of the mechanical pencils or lead refills. These are some solid mechanical pencils you can feel the quality & durability when you hold them. I see these lasting a very long time. The bang for your buck can't be beat. The pencils themselves are very comfortable to use even for long sessions. I spent 4 solid hours drawing plans for a new outdoor garden trellis system yesterday & my hand felt better than it does after that long with my other mechanical pencils. The rubber grip is very comfortable to hold. On to appearance: I love the colors of the pencils themselves. The colors are very with the current pallet of colors. a beautiful peacock blue, a bright green that's lovely. One is black, Another is a really pretty medium blue gorgeous but my favorite is the lavender shade of purple. All in all I'd say these are an exceptionally good product that will last you a very long time.

The lead rarely breaks also have a comfortable rubber grip at the bottom for easy gripping and writing. I use these pencils often doing word search puzzles.

We homeschool and tend to go through a lot of pencils so I have switched to mechanical pencils. I got a 5pack of Pilot G2 G-2 Mechanical Pencils. They come with led and eraser refills which is a must have to have both those to refill and not just the lead. The pencil is see through so you can keep An eye on the lead level. They have a contoured grip which makes them very comfortable to hold so if you write a lot you don't have to worry about your hand hurting. My favorite thing about these mechanical pencils is that the lead doesn't seem to break as easily as other pencils. They also come in a variety of fun colors. They write very nice and smooth. These mechanical pencils can be used for everyday work at home, school or the office.

These r really nice pencils to use. I had bought some in the past and they last a long time. The kids use them at school and at home also and they also like them. They write smoothly and they like the option of more lead right there and not having g to sharpen them all the time.
