It writes so smooth and bold and never skips while writing. It smears if you write on something other than regular paper (like a calendar) but all you have to do is wait about a minute and it's fine. Great pen.

My wife and i both like bold point pens, which are difficult to find locally, other than in black. We get the gel pens because the ink flows much more smoothly. Together with the shape and feel of the pen itself, it makes for a much better writing experience.

This pen is a thousand times better than the cross gel pen. The Cross gel pen costs about 100x more than this Pilot G-2, yet the Pilot lasts much longer. It is smoother than any pen I have ever used. Fits my hand very well.

The ink flows smoothly without skipping, and the bold point gives notes and signatures a clean, professional look. The ink does dry a little slower than ballpoint pens, so left-handed writers might notice some smudging, but for me they're worth it because of how sharp and consistent the lines are. As someone who writes and documents for a living I need a pen that will write smooth but most importantly have a comfortable river grip. You may not think you need a pen like this but let me tell you once you try it you won't be letting anyone use it. This bold black ink pen is definitely worth the price especially if it's going to be allowing me to use for a long period of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are great! As a lefty who smudges everything, it was great having the ink actually dry on the paper as I wrote so I was not left with a pinky smeer. No noise to distract, and pens were sturdy.

I like this pen, but can rarely buy it off the rack. You can find the Bold, then NOT the Blue. You can find Blue, then not the Bold. Buying the box of 12 solved that one.

How long it lasts remains to be seen but it seems like it will be quite a while. Great price. As you can see in the pics with the swirls, it did bleed slightly but otherwise it's a great pen.

My first impression of this pen is that it was very comfortable to hold. The ink was very pretty and glided on the paper while writing. I wasn't a fan of how thick the letters were when I tried writing small. Other than that this is a great pen!!
