Pilot Rock Fire Pit Ring Grill Grate, 30 in Steel, Black

This is my second Pilot Rock fire ring. Had to leave the last one when I moved to my new location. They are well made and worth the little extra money you might pay over an off-brand. I use it for grilling as well as camp fires and I like the national park look it has.

Heavy duty quality. Very happy with this purchase. Worth it!

I have purchased 4 of these fire rings. They are heavy duty and well designed. Will buy more for my Hip Camp sites.

This is our second Pilot Rock fire ring. We moved and because it was an attached feature we had to leave it. Bummer, because it was the highest quality of any other rings out there. If you've ever been to a state or national park campground this is the quality and durability you will. see. An added plus is the free shipping from Northern Tool because this sucker is heavy.

We have been very impressed with the quality and thickness of the fire ring. The swivel grill is a great feature that I had not originally considered using, but has been used much more than I ever imagined. The build quality is the same as you find in a camp site, so expect it to last for years to come!

Excellent quality for a fair price. works. i purchased this fire ring to use on our property at a home campsite that we have made. This has worked just great and have enjoyed it very much. Thank you Northern for providing us with a great product. Will recommend to our family and friends for sure.

This fire ring is extremely well built. Where I placed it is slightly sloped so I dug down about 6 inches, leveled the bottom, and put in about 6 inches of rock. Then I cut a circle out of cardboard by placing the ring on the board and marking the circle. Used that to place a level on to get the rock level. Built one level of stone block (12). Then placed second layer of block on after putting glue on first layer, did the same for the third layer. I had cut the anchor points off as I have no concern for theft. Painted the bare metal and placed the ring in the blocks and, while the glue was still wet, took a ratchet tie down strap and pulled the stones into the ring. the result was no gaps between the stone and the ring. The overall results exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this ring to anyone (already have). Unfortunately the pics I have exceed the size restriction.

I bought this ring because I wanted a quality one with a cooking grate. I used blocks from Lowes to build the fire pit. I also poured 100 pounds of concrete for the base. The lip of the ring is not very wide but it worked fine for me as I made the circle of blocks as tight as I could. Fire pit looks great. Only thing...there are 2 hooks on the back of the ring that are used to optionally secure it to the ground. This gets in the way of some of the blocks....so you either need to cut them off or what I did was just set my blocks around these. Overall, very nice for a fire pit!

We have enjoyed using this outdoor fire ring for two months now. It is just nice to sit around the fire rather than the TV. Nice quality ring with cooking grate that swings out of the way. We swing it back and add a cover after it has cooled. that way we can store wood in the ring for the next time and it is protected from the weather.

For all those who look forward to a Fire Pit, be it Summer or Winter this is the one, this is a heavy duty fire pit ring, with crate and it's great.. I have wanted a Fire Pit for the longest ("recommend no higher than 16"-22" so flame can breath) and the swivel crate is the Icing on the cake..superb finishing look. I'm extremely happy with this product.
