Worked great….other than I ordered the box of them and only received a single log. It was a pick up order on our way camping. Was still charged for the whole box somehow. Didn't realize until we got to our campsite. By the time we got home there wasn't anything we could do about it because the receipt showed that we'd purchased the whole box. Very disappointing.
Burns nicely and last longer than the time indicated. Word of advice. follow the lighting instructions as far as where you should ignite them for the starting of the fire.
They light quickly and are noce for starting a fire, but its smells terrible. I tried to roasting hot dogs over an open fire using these and they were immediately coated black. I think the roasting log is misleading. I would not recommend anyone eat anything roasted over these logs.
I purchased these fire logs to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. They work fast. You need to be prepared to roast your hot dogs, if thats what your using them for. I used the entire box because by the time we got to the marshmallows, it was out. I would say it has about a 20 to 30 minute burn time per recommended use of 3 logs at a time. Not really worth the money to me due to the logs performs less than expected.
not as easy as it says to get to light. wrapper burnt aways in less then a minute log didnt stay lit. took lots of trying to get it to light then when lit lasted a while which was good thankfully. Probably wont use again due to difficulty with lighting.
Logs burn really quickly, faster than split firewood. Also whatever they are coated in smells terrible and leaves a black residue on hotdogs. They looked like they were dripping black oil. Only positive thing is they do light really quickly and put up a decent amount of flame. I will be looking for a different choice in the future.
Yes they smell nice and burn well after about 45 minutes of aggregation. If you enjoy cold starting a Diesel engine this log is for you!
$16.99 delivered. One piece 2” x 9-1/2” weighing 1 pound. Not the box that has 6 logs printed on it. Looking for the “Return” button. Like those mail order dog beds that wind up only big enough for a mouse.
I ordered the roasting logs online. The description said 6 logs. This order was picked up at the store, and i was given one wrapped log. The employee was informed that it was supposed to be a box of 6. The employee then stated that the online description was wrong. My question is, Why is it still posted online since it's the wrong description? The return and refund was easy.
I ordered these six three hour fire logs that are huge and they say they don't have it they're going to have to mail it to me. when I receive it in the mail is this tiny little thing where I knew immediately there was no way that was my box of six big fire logs. who in the heck can take the skew information that's already in your system and turn it into one little teeny tiny I don't even know what it was it might been one little tiny fire starter. so instead of ordering things online and picking them up so it's convenient so I don't have to go into the store I now have to go get in my car drive all the way down to the store wait in line to return this and get my money back and then get back in my car and drive home. what a waste of my time and money. this is totally unacceptable. I'm scared to death to order it again I don't know what I'm going to get!. I'm scared to death to order it again I don't know what I'm going to get!
