Love this food. No waste. Cardinals love it.

The cardinals love it. Whatever the cardinals drop, the turtle doves love to eat. Best of all….the starlings find it bitter and too hard for their beak. So I really love feeding the safflower seed cakes.

Seed log came packaged well and fit nicely on the log bird feeder. I see a cardinal family hanging around but seems to have trouble finding it to use it. May need to change spots for it. If I Can get the cardinals to use it I would buy again.

Love the product - especially in hot weather when fruity logs have a tendency to melt and get sticky. However, it is pricey.

I ordered Pine Tree Farms Safflower Log in May and received a tightly wrapped, fresh log -- very few seeds came off and the log has lasted through wind and rain. I ordered two more logs and was terribly disappointed. The labels are worn and look as if they've been around for a LONG time. The worst part is that there are more seeds that have come off the log than are on the log! It would have been better to order a bag of safflower! Then I looked at the suppliers -- what a surprise. The first log I ordered (the one in excellent, fresh condition) came from JCs Wildlife. The second (stale, loose seeds) came from The Solid Merchant, LLC. I will not order anything from that source ever again. It gives Pine Tree Farms a really bad name. It's a shame Walmart is using inferior suppliers.
