Love that this gravy is thicker for a packet gravy.Easy to make and great on chicken .I also made swedish meatballs and added this instead of normal sauce It was ok but swedish is better.Aside from that it is my new brand of gravy since it is creamy and thick and has a nice flavor for country gravy.I like the old packs where you mix it in a seperate bowl and whisk first I still do that even though directions changed .

I like having this country gravy mix in the pantry for those times when I want creamy Southern-style gravy without making a whole batch from scratch. I do plenty of cooking and baking from scratch, but I'm also perfectly happy to use a shortcut when it saves time and still gives me something I enjoy. My husband has a swallow disorder and we needed a quick alternative for gravy to soften different food items. This mix was great; it was almost as good as homemade. I was pleasantly surprised.

When you're in a hurry, this is great mix. It's fast. It's easy and it taste great the difference is always use milk I don't use water so it's really good. I would recommend.

We like this. Just wish they would use less pepper. It is very good. We use 1/4 Cup less water in order for it to be thicker. The left over gravy does well when adding some water. I don't know how much I add...I just eyeball it.

Okay, I know how to make gravy but it never turns out right. This Pioneer gravy mix turns out right every time. It goes great with chicken fried steak and/or biscuits. It's easy to make too.

When needing to make a super quick, easy gravy for dinner, this has always been one of my favorite choices. When seasoned correctly, it tastes great and goes with almost any meal. Pioneer Country has some of my favorite gravy mixes - will definitely be purchasing to keep in my kitchen.

The price of this is okay, and if you follow the directions it does not have lumps. I do wish it was organic though. This one does have a good flavor, and the black pepper is not overpowering. It goes great with chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and biscuits.

This is my go too when im in a hurry and need to make gravy fast. The directions are easy to follow, packaging is easy to open. Its not homemade but it taste close enough. Its great to put on buiscuits.The gravy doesnt taste gritty, and leaves you satisfied and full

We love this gravy but the pepper can be strong at times. I can't imagine what the peppered one tastes like that they sell because we feel at times this is over peppery. I definitely wouldn't give this to little kids just starting out or under 5. That's my personal preference though. If we use milk instead of water it does lower the pepper taste a bit!!
