Pioneer DEH-S4220BT CD audio player
Pioneer DEH-S4220BT CD audio player. Got this and got the Pioneer speakers for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ. I got everything it needed for it to just plug and play even for the speakers. It worked for about 3 minutes then a AMP ERROR came up, no amp was hooked up just radio and speakers. It could not be turned off by the radio my Jeep had to be turned off and cut back on to get the amp error off. It would play again for a few seconds and the amp error would come back on. The paperwork said it was a speaker wire loose or a speaker ground. Followed instructions and checked the 4 speakers one at the time, they all worked for a few seconds and the amp error would come back on. we checked all fuses they were fine, checked all grounds and all wires for good connection. I got another radio the exact same one. redone the install, checked the hookups with a light to make sure they all had power, plugged in the radio and the amp error came up on the new radio also. Had a friend to come check the hookups and all wires, they were good. I give up on Pioneer, going to take them both back and go with a different brand. if you have a Jeep TJ don't go with the Pioneer DEH-S4220BT!! didn't think of taking a photo.

Pioneer sounds good But…
This is the 3rd Pioneer we purchased in last 60 days, sound was good %26 quality was good But It would not reverse on cd's on all 3 that we got which were different pioneer radio/cd players! Time to try another brand.
