PIPCAM5 Network Camera

Bought this camera after reviewing it on Youtube. Seemed real easy to set up and get going. Well, not so. Got it out of box, followed all instructions. Just to have it not work on my computer. Works with my phone, but not very good. They don't give you too much info on the IP address stuff. Now I'm no pro at this stuff, but they could give a little better instructions on these issues. Not all are professional IT's here.

I like the cam monitor, but, the software was missing part of setup. I will be returning this product. Walmart Shopper

I'm pretty computer savvy so when I tell you the set up CD Rom that comes with the camera is not what they claim as easy set up. It does not set itself up. It's a job getting it to work. The picture is very grainy on zoom and not a real good picture on normal. I am going to look for a better alternative. If I can't see who stealing my stuff then I know the Police won't be able to.

Hard to get it to work right after 3 hours trying to get it working. Smh... I returned it and I'm still looking for something else that is fairly inexpensive and works with your phone.

So far the installation has been a nightmare and I may have to send it back. Easy to set up and download the PC tool and mobile phone apps (android and ios). To install I have to upgrade the firmware. The link to download the zip file wouldn't work from the PC so I had to download it on my phone and email it to myself to extract it and open it on PC. There were two files to run and the first ran OK. The second one times out. I had to create an account, register the product and open a ticket to get any support - no phone support. I don't know how many days it may take. I was an IT professional for 35 years so I am no dummy when it comes to installing hardware and software.

Upon arrival, I opened the box and noticed the camera had some loose parts inside that you could easily hear when you shook it. I did not even try to use it but instead took it right back to the store. I attempted to re-order but the system said it was no longer available. I ordered the same camera from another store, received and have yet been able to set it up. I am quite capable but this camera is not up yet due to it's difficulty in set up. I am still trying but no success yet which is why I have rated it as poor.

I had no other choice but to return this,.. no customer support and item never wanted to work correctly !! Cheap is sadly built into the cheap price !!!

This security camera has all the bells & whistles & low price - but can't pull it off. I returned it and will pay a bit more for a better one with a track record. But the dream is great- but they have not yet worked out the kinks.

I bought this item to keep an eye on my dogs. It did not work as promised I kept losing signal and the picture kept freezing, regardless if I tried using with my phone or computer. I do not suggest using this prouduct
