Pirates of the Caribbean at Worlds End (DVD)

This movie was awesome. It was a great conclusion to the trilogy. If you love the "pirates" movies you need to get this. And definately get the 2-disc edition. It is well worth the extra few bucks to get the bonus features.

It's a dark time in the carribean. The East India Trading company, under the direction of Lord Cutler Becket, is rounding up men, women and children, anyone remotly associated with pirates, and hanging them enmasse. Out on the seas, Davey Jones is mercislessly hunting down and slaughtering pirates under Becketts orders since Beckett has his still beating heart. It's time to convene the Brethren Court, but their is a slight problem; One of the nine Pirate Lords, Captain Jack Sparrow, is stranded in Davey Jones's Locker and needs to be rescued first. This, the last in the pirates trilogy, is a thrilling, action packed adventure almost from the first. There are thrilling battles, double crosses and betrayals, and one of the central characters will reach his destiny, while another will prove to be much more then she appears. Jonny Deep does a star turn as Captain Jack, at one point commanding a crew of Jack's aboard the Black Pearl as the ship sits in the vast wasteland that is davey jones locker. The second disc has many extra features including a blooper reel, and featuretes on how the "Multible Jacks" sequence and the climatic malestrom battle between the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman were conceptulized and created. I would reccomend this DVD set to all "Pirates" fans who like me, hope this won't be the last we'll see of the wily Captain jack Sparrow.

Just watching this movie makes me smile. Johnny depp has done so many great movies. This by far is his best. the charature is unforgettable. I love when he is in the boat at the last scene and just looks at the camera and says "yo ho me heartys yo ho"..it gives me goose pimples...I pray they do another one. I mean when your good, your good, and when your great...do another one.

This movie was all it was expected to be. It is a great family movie for my husband, two teenage children and me. (Daughter 16, son, 14). We all had a great time watching it together.

while this movie has some spots that were a little long, overall it is a very amusing movie. Looking forward to anothe Pirates of the Carribean movie since they left an opening for a sequel.

Some people loved this movie and some didn't. Others thought the ending was bad. It a great 3rd movie and ends with, a captain, his boat a map and a bottle of rum.

The family watched it Christmas Eve. Enjoyed by all. The boys have watched it at least 3 more times. I'd say it is a hit!

This is the best of the three. really enjoyable. I give it an excellant rating.

This was a great movie, and the DVD is loaded with extras!

I think this movie was ok. Didn't enjoy it as much as my kids did. Would recomend it though.
