Worked as intended, smelled amazing
Bought and used the pellets for an outdoor pizza oven. Smelled amazing when it started to smoke, but my use of the pellets was for fire, not smoke, so I cannot say how good would taste from a smoker with these pellets. Took a while to light my first time, because I used a wax fire starter, but second time I used a torch to light them, and they lit within 30 seconds.

Better than Other Brands
Pit Boss Maple Blend is a great pellet for my tregar grill it burns hot and taste great for all meats, the price is prefect and better than other places, will be getting more from Walmart soon. delivered fast too!

Great quality fuel for pellet grills
Great price on specialty pellets ideal for smoking pork and poultry meats. I use these for hams, pork ribs and chicken. Excellent quality pellets at a great price.

Great Pellets
Have used Pitboss pellets from Walmart for the last several years. work great. low dust! cant beat the price! would recommend! Also, the Maple flavor from Pitboss is lovely too!

I use these in my ninja xl woodfire pro connect smoker, no ignition issues, Great burn with very low creosote. highly recommend and would purchase again

Grill pellets shipped in weak cardboard boxes
Walmart asked for a review within 48 hours, so I have not used the pellets yet. They are probably fine. But Walmart shipped them to me by putting each bag in its own cardboard box. (I ordered several bags.). The cardboard boxes mostly did not survive shipping, and certainly were not better than the actual bags the pellets come in from Pitt Boss. I felt bad looking at the stack of wasted cardboard, so won't order them to be shipped from Walmart again. I suppose maybe the boxes took the beating of shipment, so the bags didn't get damaged. But those boxes had holes and tears and loose flaps from torn tape, and would not have contained the pellets if a bag tore open. They need to improve their method of shipping.
