Pit Boss 2-Piece Brisket Carving Knife Set

Bought as a gift for my barbecue enthusiast friend and he can't stop telling me how great it is. It's well made from good quality material and came with a razor sharp edge on both blades. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a good quality carving set at a good price.

For the price you can't beat it Bought one for my self the after i used it bought one for my dad and he loves it says its the sharpest knife he ever used in the kitchen

Although I'm just now getting into smoking meat and learning as I go along, the Pit Boss brand hasn't let me down yet. Bought these when I smoke my first brisket ( turned out awesome) both knives sliced through it with no hesitation.

When I first used it I was amazed %26 very surprised on how sharp this knife is. Cutting meat, veggies %26 bread was amazing and great it was like cutting through butter. I know it says its for meat cutting however the bread was very balanced %26 the cuts where very even I was very surprised. This knife has a serrated blade is amazingly sharp, so be every careful with it. It was worth every penny.

We actually use this for our Thanksgiving turkey to carve and worked out very well. I would definitely say we haven't seen any rust since when we bought it and even today. Feel like it was very sharp when we used it so I would recommend it to others.

This item is good as a 'starter set' for the inexperienced carver and meat trimmer as I am... the items both hold an edge provided you treat them like the quality tools they are... if you abuse them you will probably write a bad review instead of taking responsibility for your own misuse... a diamond dust sharpener steel... and regular steel go a long way in helping maintain these knives in fresh-from-the-factory condition... I have used the boning knife to debone chicken... beef ribs... pork shoulder and turkey... and it stayed sharp throughout each session only needing a light honing afterwards... I'm still getting used to the flex in the carving knife but it performs well especially when I hand cut my home-made sausages and pressed deli meat selections... I actually prefer this method of slicing over having to lug out and eventually clean an electric slicer...

I bought 2 .One for myself and one for son in law. The small knives were excellent, ergonomic and sharp. The brisket knives were dull and needed major sharpening to cut properly.

The long brisket knife works great. Seemed sharp initially, holds an edge well and sharpens well. The smaller boning knife was not very sharp and doesn't seem to sharpen well. Thankfully I bought this set for the long brisket knife

Knife set works for what I need. I don't normally smoke brisket very often so it's good for what I need. Decently sharp and has held up so far. Works for trimming pork butt also.

the blades on these knives are so thin and cheap I was worried they would be more of a danger than a tool. and it looks like only one side was machined they weren't worth the cost to ship and shipping was free. stay safe and save your money these things are junk
