Pit Boss 200ft BBQ Butcher's Twine

The Butcher's Twine is good for a lot of things around the house. I use it in the kitchen and for craft projects. It can be used for anything you want.

Have not used, yet, as I live in Syracuse NY and it is snowing, 20 degree temperatures and 39 mph winds - Not exactly smoker weather! Good, quality twine, though!

We have used this in the smoker and on the grill. It has held the meat together each time and not burned during the process. We will keep this on hand.

I never tried or had the need to use string for cooking. I made stuffed pork chops the other night-used string to tie each together so the filling would stay inside! It worked great. I like that. It's a natural product as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by this BBQ twine. The packaging is amazing. Easy to roll out without rolling out too much. Sturdy twine. Held my chickens legs together while roasting beautifully.

Great for food grade rope. Too the MFG , the package should be sealed meaning wrapped in plastic no in a box that's 100 sealed .

Exactly what I was looking for

I do not usually give anything 5 stars. This was good twine. It was a bit skinny but held up. I pick up and deposit the turkey into the smoker by the twine and I had no problem with a 20 lb. turkey.

I was just looking for regular cord for tying up plants and packages and such, but this came as cooking twine, which doesn't make a difference for my use, but for barbecue/cooking, this says it has plastic in it, who on earth uses something in an oven or a grill that can melt? And who needs one more source of plasticnear our food? Just thought I'd put that out there for others, but really, why not just carry the regular old-school cord?

The product specs claim the twine is 100% food grade cotton, but the back of the box says it's 58% polyester, 35% cotton, and 7% acrylic. I'm sure it's heat resistant, but one of the main reasons I bought it was because I want pure cotton when cooking and baking.
