WE bought a 30" Pitt Boss vertical smoker to try smoking meats on our own and they turned out great. As a beginner this smoker made it easy to do with amazing results. I would highly reccomend this smoker to anyone wanting to buy a smoker. The smoker is heavy duty compared to others we looked at and seems to be more durable because of it. I think we will have years to enjoy this smoker and the meat it smokes. I used hickory chips on a prk butt for 16 hours and it turned out great for a first time user.
Easy operation, removable door makes for easy cleaning in the smoker and the glass in the door. Smoking ribs was a breeze and they came out perfectly. Remote control with Bluetooth & WiFi using a smartphone is a big plus!! Keep making Quality Products.

I love this!! easy to use and delivers great smoke flavor!!
Just got this smoker and I e only done a dry run to get the Somme running. Seems like it's gonna be good but I can't figure out how to connect the wifi
Easy set up. Very easy to use. Did Smoked Salmon on a Cedar plank for the maiden voyage. Amazing! Peach Cobbler in a cast iron skillet second. Third was a pork butt. Very easy to use. So far everything has turned out amazing!
First of all I LOVE the WiFi connection! Being able to start it and go pick up the kids and raise or lower the heat is awesome!! The bad things… the top rack is a LOT cooler bc of the vents on the back. And some how where you add the wood chips got warped or got put in wrong and I can't pull it out. I have never been a fan of the glass front.
So I love the construction. It's well insulated and easy to clean and the WiFi works well (even though I don't really use it). BUT it doesn't smoke. The chips won't catch fire. They just get hot and kinda angry looking, but no smoke. I bought new chips so I'm sure they aren't damp. I opened the damper all the way. I run it at 375-300 for 30 minutes before starting to use it to try to get things going before I set the temp. I've tried everything I know and in researching I see this is a common problem. Very disappointed. A smoker that doesn't smoke isn't really what I wanted.
Died partway through first cook. They are sending me a new heating element but not really looking to do immediate maintenance on a brand new smoker. Trying to figure out if I should just return and get something else. Also came dented and with a separate part that is all bent. Again they are sending replacement parts but don't really want to reassemble and take apart a smoker that hasn't even been used once. Unimpressed but maybe it's just this line that's terrible. Was a huge pain to assemble already and now I've gotta replace a heating element that went out 4 hours into my first smoke.
Not impressed. Doesn't even come close to my old master built. Doesn't light chips unless on 300 degrees. I have added a internal chip tray that lights separate. I'm going to add a external fire box and convect air to inside
