this is a very reliable pit and so easy to use. I've cooked just about everything and it's been cooked perfectly and with lots of taste, moisture and crispy. I now have had my family ask for smoked turkey for Thanksgiving for the last 3 years. I cook the turkey plus sides in this smoke. I love it.

This smoker is amazing! I i so far grilled burgers, smoke ribs and smoked wings. Everything came out perfect. Much easier to control the heat unlike my charcoal smoker. The only thing on this is the thermometer on the lid is way off from the digital guage. I just go with the digital guage and a meat thermometer and your golden. Very easy to clean. My only issue is it doesnt come with a side self but one can be purchased.

Within the first two weeks of owning this grill, I made chicken breasts, full 14.5 pound brisket, two racks of baby backs, a brick of cream cheese, and a whole 18 pound turkey. Everything came out great with no headache whatsoever!!

Upgraded from a wood chip to this pellet smoker. Love how easy everything is! pour the pellets in. Turn it on, let it start smoking, put the meat on, and let it go!

We have the larger one for home but we bought this for the lake. Its fantastic. Once you have food smoked on these grills you wont go back to anything else.

The price is extremely competitive and the next day shipping was great. The product was shipped safely and packaged well.

This was a Christmas Eve gift. The grill seems great but it was missing the grates so the recipient was unable to use it. We contacted PitBoss but the recipient is still waiting for the grates. Hard to give 5 stars when the grill is unusable.

So far using it as a smoker has been very disappointing. It does not hold a steady temperature and today it overfilled the pellet cup and lost temperature. I had to take all of the meat out, disassemble everything, clean out the area where the igniter is, and restart it. I was hoping for fall off the bone ribs and was very unhappy with how it performed.

When I first used this, it was great. I smoked a brisket and it came out delicious. Ever since that time, the pit boss can not keep running for more than 4 to 5 hours without putting its own fire out. The temperature fluctuates too much and it smothers itself out. I clean the pit boss after every use but still happens. Still works great for anything under 4 to 5 hours. Not sure why the temp fluctuates so much but I may now have to go for a different brand smoker.

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD...DO NOT BUY THIS SMOKER! So lets start, -The smoker arrived a after 7 days when walmart has this at a 2 day ship. -When putting the smoker together the wires to connect to the internal thermomiter were too short and with the tension on them one broke which I had to fix myself. -Twice when attempting to break in the smoker and cook off the packing oils the auger jammed up causing the flame to go out before it can cook all the packing oils off. THE SMOKER IS UNUSABLE! Didn’t last 30 mins before jamming each time. (I am using their brand of pellets, competition blend).To clear the jam you have to take the pellet box completly apart...took over an hour once the smoker cooled down. - The dome thermometer reads 100 lower than the digital and heat rises.... -THE WORST PART IS DONT EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I HAVE CALLED TWICE! the first time the called me back at 10pm! Obviously, didnt answer because I was in bed and frustrated...Called the number they gave me on the message back and again had to leave a call back. STILL WAITING FOR A CALL!
