Pit Boss Portable Tabletop Pellet Grill, Mahogany

All around this is an excellent portable pellet smoker. I have the 1100 square inch smoker and also the vertical smoker. I initially purchased this table top smoker for my RV only but it is so handy at home also. With it I can cook an individual meal and not have to cook or smoke tons of food. The only issue I have is this model comes without side handles to carry. For some reason the other models have them. I highly recommend this smoker.

Easy to put together, brats and burgers are done in no time. It does have issues maintaininga temperature. But managable. i was hoping to fit it on the semi truck, but since i flatbed, and we dont have those super expensive fully enclosed headache racks, was quite enough room for it... i will say, it is pretty awkward to carry. But so far its been great! Can't wait to get home tomorrow to try smoking a meatloaf on it!

This thing is idiot proof ! The first time out I put two whole chickens on it and three hrs later they came out looking like a TV commercial. Love this thing, you can't go wrong with it.

Fantastic for camping. However pick nick tables are rarely level. The feet need to be adjustable without using a wrench so the grease will flow to the catch.

I wanted to love this like I love my other Pit Boss products. It works great as a grill on temps of 350f or higher. It fails when trying to cook/smoke at 250f or lower. Every time I set it to a low temperature, it works fine for about an hour and then smoke starts coming from the pellet hopper. The pellets burn and smolder back through the auger. I push the prime button to force all the burning pellets out into the fire can, but it should not have to be this way. I wish I could set it and forget it like I can on my Austin XL. Sawdust from pellets or a dirty fire can may cause problems like this, but I use only Put Boss pellets that I removed the dust from and I make sure the fire can is clean before I use it. I love it's portability, but it's been a let down.

I do not know how well this grill works. I got it and it did not work, auger didnt feed pellets. Pit boss was not a lot of help. So I shipped back to Walmart. Its been a couple weeks now and dont have a grill. I have a bigger pit boss grill that works well. So I dont know if this grill is any good. Its been a bad purchasing experience!

used 2 times both times it burned up thru the auger! I have it on a PERFECTLY level table using PITBOSS competition pellets, I am going to see about a refund. Thats what I get for buying the least expensive smoker...you get what you pay for!!!
