Pit Boss Portable Wood Pellet Grill, Pit Stop Smoker with foldable legs

Very easy to put together and holds a pretty constant temperature. Smoked bacon, ribs, chicken breasts, pork chops, and pork shoulder which have all turned out great. Really enjoy how easy it is to just set the temp and walk away.

I like the grill, the ease of assembly and the easy cooking on the grill. However, the shipping was not as good. The item was "out for delivery" on the truck for three days... there were several holes in the box along with several dents in the grill housing and some missing hardware from within the box. Will think twice before ordering something like this again to be delivered.

A great travel companion! I use it every other day. This is my 2nd purchase and love the smoke and sear of the unit. Not sure why they changed the slide grate. My old unit the slide cover was on a exterior rod, now it's not there and it manual. We'll we will see how it goes.

Received the grill for Father's day 2025. Wanted quality but did not want to go through the expense of a large smoker without knowing how often I'd really use it. Love the portability of the unit and ease of use. Smoked a pork butt e days later and it was amazing. Wish it came with the meat probe, but, will save for one more than likely to further simplify future smokings.

Strongly and well built. Bought mainly to smoke ribs and my first attempt turned out well so I am sure it will get even better. Like it as the wood pellets are added electronically as needed so you do not have to sit by its side for 5 hours as you smoke ribs. Experimenting using it for regular BBQ'ing too but too new to comment on that angle yet. Though not feather light at about 70 pounds, they way it easily folds down to half its size makes me think it will also serve me well when I camp and travel as I keep it in the bed of my truck and then be bale to cook and eat like a king wherever I spend the night. Though you do need electricity but I will have my generator....

We have a full size pit boss which we love. Went camping with a regular charcoal barbqeue grill. We left the grill for the next campers. When we got home, we ordered the portable pit boss to make sure we always have smoky goodness.

Great smoker with plenty of room to feed 6-8 people if you plan things right. Sold my traeger because this was more portable and has the ability to really sear steaks and get some char

Works great for smoking and searing meat BUT no good for baking anything. The problem is the placement of the firebox being in the middle of the grill this size (works perfect on the large version of the tailgater). There's no indirect side for baking and burns everything, so you really have to watch it closely. I would've gotten the larger one if I had known this. I would not recommend this costly grill if you're planning to make anything more than pork and beef.

Got this for Christmas. Put together Christmas and started burn off. Tried to smoke a turkey and kept overheating. Then flaming out. Set for 300 and temp would get to 350 then flame out all the way and drop to 100. Auger would not turn back on to sustain heat. Disappointing to buy a grill and have it not work right even once out of the box. Might try another one to see if I got a bad one but not looking good.

I'm a pit boss user and this travel smoker was a fail from arrival. FedEx delivered it damaged however, just bent a little so no biggie. Filled it with pellets turned it on, started to reach temp, fan quit, drastic temp drop, repeat constantly. Thankfully returned to Walmart for full refund. I like pit boss but this baby boss let me down!
