Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle Series 4-Burner 36" Gas Griddle with Portable

I asked for this for my birthday after years of using a 36" Blackstone. Blackstone is great, dont get me wrong, but this thing is amazing. The build quality is top-notch. You can tell when assembling, that this will last a long time. It is sturdy and well made. The entire reason I upgraded to this was because the blackstone frame/metal is rusting terribly and is becoming quite wobbly. Made cheesesteaks first cook --- came out great.. Easy cleanup!! I love it!

A great start using PitBoss! Self installation was flawless, though lots of parts and screws. Instructions was very clear. Started ceramic griddle prep using oil and cooked my first food: Salmon on it. Delicious! Looking forward to cooking more on this griddle!

The ceramic top 4 burner lift off griddle is absolutely amazing! A huge step up from the cast iron griddles! The cleanup and upkeep is SO MUCH EASIER! I have already recommended to several others and will continue to do so!

Cotter pins on the wheels seem cheap, but otherwise it seems sturdy and good quality. Overall, setup went well and it ignited smoothly. Looking forward to using it!

My experience cooking on the Pitboss Griddle - Absolutely love the Pitboss, the cooking space is a game changer! Love the towel rack and the spot for making a quick garbage spot. Not as easy a clean us as I would like, wish there was more instruction for doing a deep clean to get grease and "use" off. I wouldn't cook on anything else and use it for every meal of the day!

We love our pit boss griddle. Prior to this we had a Blackstone & choose the pit boss hands down. However this past weekend we did discover an issue. The left side shelf & the underneath shelf are starting to rust. We Have had it for 2 years & keep it covered when not using. Can pit boss please do something about this?

Very disappointed as the ceramic griddle top failed and rusted after 2 1/2 years. I hadn't used the grill for several months and when I removed the cover and opened the lid I was shocked to see the condition of the griddle top. The grill was religiously taken care of per the maintenance instructions its entire life. Hopefully Pit Boss makes it right.

I would probably go with cast iron for my next griddle purchase. The idea behind the ceramic coating was good but not well executed in this griddle. After treating it like a ceramic pan it was working for me but at around the 2 year mark I started seeing tiny spots where the coating of the griddle was breaking off. And these 2 years were not constant use for the wear and tear factor and it was not exactly left to the elements to ruin the griddle. It was outside but it was covered with the cover that is sold by pit boss. The shelves on each side and below started to bubble and the paint began to flake off. This would have been something that I could have lived with but the griddle also failing is my issue. I wish pitboss sold replacement griddles and I also wish they made them in other materials like cast iron. All in all I got some use out of it but not much. A useful feature for the bottom of the griddles would also be wind guards so the heat can go up without interference. Unfortunately this griddle gets a one star from me.

I have had my pit boss for three years. I cleaned it thoroughly before putting it away for the winter here in Florida and when I took it off to use it this week, the top is completely rusted out. It was already starting to flake when I put it away last fall but this is so disappointing.

Rust! I've had this grill a few years now . I take very well care of it and clean it after every use and also cover it . It has rust all over the grill . I am very frustrated and would not recommend this girl to anyone
