Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle Series 4-Burner 36" Gas Griddle with Portable

I asked for this for my birthday after years of using a 36" Blackstone. Blackstone is great, dont get me wrong, but this thing is amazing. The build quality is top-notch. You can tell when assembling, that this will last a long time. It is sturdy and well made. The entire reason I upgraded to this was because the blackstone frame/metal is rusting terribly and is becoming quite wobbly. Made cheesesteaks first cook --- came out great.. Easy cleanup!! I love it!

It's perfect size for a large family. I love the versatility of being able to have the roll cart for the house and the ability to take camping. One of the four burners has a dual gas tube, which is great for high heat searing. The ceramic surface is truly nonstick and easy to clean.

A great start using PitBoss! Self installation was flawless, though lots of parts and screws. Instructions was very clear. Started ceramic griddle prep using oil and cooked my first food: Salmon on it. Delicious! Looking forward to cooking more on this griddle!

This is our second Pit Boss Griddle. Not because there's anything wrong with the first one, but because the first one is still going strong after 3 years of use! The cook top is very low maintenance, and cleans beautifully after every use. Pro-tip... watch the grease can. It holds plenty for a cook or two, but I learned the hard way when cooking 5 lbs of bacon for a large group and I didn't clean it out first. Other than my user error, this thing is great!

I cooked on my daughter's Pit Boss and immediately had to have one. I am so happy I have it. I live up north with a lot of snow but I'll be outside cooking on my Pit Boss and doing my “happy dance.”

Haven't used this grill yet, but assembly was as expected. Build quality and solid, have burned off and "seasoned". I did have flame outs due to wind. Haven't owned a gas grill that has resolved that issue but I do have wind screens. Wish me luck, burgers then chicken.

We love our pit boss griddle. Prior to this we had a Blackstone & choose the pit boss hands down. However this past weekend we did discover an issue. The left side shelf & the underneath shelf are starting to rust. We Have had it for 2 years & keep it covered when not using. Can pit boss please do something about this?

I would probably go with cast iron for my next griddle purchase. The idea behind the ceramic coating was good but not well executed in this griddle. After treating it like a ceramic pan it was working for me but at around the 2 year mark I started seeing tiny spots where the coating of the griddle was breaking off. And these 2 years were not constant use for the wear and tear factor and it was not exactly left to the elements to ruin the griddle. It was outside but it was covered with the cover that is sold by pit boss. The shelves on each side and below started to bubble and the paint began to flake off. This would have been something that I could have lived with but the griddle also failing is my issue. I wish pitboss sold replacement griddles and I also wish they made them in other materials like cast iron. All in all I got some use out of it but not much. A useful feature for the bottom of the griddles would also be wind guards so the heat can go up without interference. Unfortunately this griddle gets a one star from me.

It was fun while it lasted, I bought the four burner in 2023 and used it a handful of times each summer since. I cleaned it properly and even bought the pit boss ultimate cooking tools, no metal has touched this cooktop. I coverd it with a proper fitted cover for the mild winters we get here in the pacific north west and this year while setting it up I noticed the ceramic cook top is flaking off. Im currently looking for places to sandblast this cooktop so i can continue using it as a non ceramic griddle. Great griddle aside from the cook top which is pretty terrible. So in my opinion stay away from the ceramic stuff. Before I bought mine I read similar reviews complaining about the ceramic cooktop and figured it was something the owners were doing wrong and now im one of owners who tried to convince past me away from this purchase.

Rust! I've had this grill a few years now . I take very well care of it and clean it after every use and also cover it . It has rust all over the grill . I am very frustrated and would not recommend this girl to anyone
