Easy homemade pizza

R January 21, 2026

These crust are great when you don’t have time to make your own crust or can’t. I purchase from the deli area unfrozen and I bring them home and stick in the fridge. Check the dates on the package and use before or on the date, unless you bring home and put in the freezer to use at a later date, which is fine. When I am ready to use I remove the dough from the package and form into a ball and cover to let rise at room temperature a couple hours at least. If frozen thaw first then form and let rise. When you are ready to make your pizza don’t handle the dough too much just press out and shape it. You can do this in the pan either thin or leave thicker. I bake at 450 and like mine more done. The crust is crisp on the bottom and fluffy on the back edge. I also brush my pizza pan with a bit of olive oil. Flavor is also very good with the crust. I prefer these over the Pepe brand. But either is fine.

Versatile and delicious!

I don't order pizza or buy premade pizza any more! I love this dough! You can part it and freeze if you don't want to make a large pizza. You control the size and dough thickness. You can make mini pizzas, mini pizza rolls, calzones, garlic bread sticks, you can even use for fruit turnovers, pot pies, so many options. You will need a little flour to knead and flatten dough, but don't use too much. I add a little olive oil to the dough to help shape it. My friend worked in a pizza restaurant, and he loves this dough and can make a nice round pizza. Mine are more artisan with an oval rectangular shape, but it taste the same. Great activity for families with kids, and you can make a pizza that everyone will love or individual pizzas. Don't overload with ingredients. I prebake just dough a little if I am making a pizza with lots of ingredients. Be creative, you will not be disappointed. I recommend making a simple ingredient test pizza to get a feel for temp and time to bake. All ovens are different. Also, I recommend using a pizza pan with holes. Cooks pizza better than solid trays.

good for the price(past pizza shop worker review)

have tried many many types of high quality pizza and for a budget/convenience dough this is pretty good i was surprised. no real off tastes just a few muted. let it warm to room temp add a little flour and it’s good to go and easy to roll out. i’ve also made deep dish with this it’s ok and holds up to the temp, thinking back now maybe it could add a few drips of water to the dough maybe 15-20min before cooking and let dry first for dd

Makes great pizza, garlic knots, french bread etc.

Jay October 23, 2025

Leave it in the fridge for a day or two to cold ferment and then it makes a wonderful light crispy Neapolitan style pizza baked at 900°f. Comes out perfect. At lower temps it is still a heck of a lot better than any frozen pizza. I ised to make my own dough but this saves soooo much time.

My new favorite Pizza Crust!

sean October 24, 2025

I remember the old Chef Boyardee Pizza in a box from when I was a kid. THIS is not that! I've tried all kinds of pizza crusts (as it IS my favorite food) and Pizza Buddy blows them away. It's honestly better then the refrigerated doughs like Pillsbury, the "premade" crusts like Mama Mary (maybe not Boboli) and even homemade dough that I've made from scratch (not by much though). It does have a very short life-span if you don't freeze it though, so use it quick!

Restaurant Quality

nathan November 16, 2025

This crust took homemade to restaurant quality, I believe. By the time you buy crust, sauce, cheese, and other toppings-- it's about the same as Pizza Delivery (sale price) but SO worth it, IMO. The dough is great to work with!!! Can't wait for the next one-- which will be a Taco Pizza. 🍕 Pic below: My Homemade Philly Cheese Steak Pizza 😋

Great for Grilled Pizza! Oh Yeah

Jay October 23, 2025

Made two awesome grilled pizzas with one dough ball. Cut thawed dough in half with a sharp knife then kneaded each half into a ball and let sit for an hour. Coated each in olive oil then stretched to form thin rounds and placed on a hot well oiled gas grill to lightly brown, flipped over and proceeded to complete topped pizza and cook on the grill with cover closed.

Buy it when you see it!

Claudia February 6, 2026

I just love this pizza crust. I try to order it every time I get a food delivery, just hoping they have it in stock. I only manage to get it about half the time. There is a reason they can't keep it stocked, its that good. Not too sweet, not at all tough, just perfect.

Excellent dough

Heather May 29, 2025

This dough is delicious! The cost is less than Publix dough by more than half, and tastes better too! For the best flavor and texture, let it cold ferment in the fridge for 3 days before using. It's nice and relaxed and gets the N.Y. pizza flavor!

Amazing taste!

SueB June 30, 2025

Wow! Amazing taste and texture. I bought it to make stuffed cheese bread. I chose this one just because of the low price, but I’m never going to buy a different brand again. This dough tasted great. I had it defrosted in my fridge for three days and then let it rest for an hour on the counter before baking it. The taste was perfect. Much better than other brands I’ve tried.
