Made my pizza over the weekend and this steel plate helped me make the best pizza ever!! Crispy and thin crust...cannot be happier! M

Purchased this square pizza baking steel to make homemade pizza. Perfect size for almost any oven. After researching products on other websites, this steel was signifcantly cheaper and of equal quality.

Outstanding item. Not only do I recommend this to a friend I bought one for my Son that worked in a Pizza Restaurant for years. We both love it. It is also excellent for homemade bread. So when making the pizza dough I double the amount, then after it rises. I split off half, roll / shape into a a log. When doubled in size slash the top and in it goes into the oven at 400F for 20 minutes. Out comes a great loaf of Italian bread. This stone cooks restaurant quality pizza with perfect brown spotted bottoms and puffed crust tops. The first pizza I tried was lightly topped and cooked in 3 minutes. The next was a bit larger at 12 inches and lightly topped with 3 tablespoons sauce, 6 ounces cheese and two rounds of pepperoni for each slice and it cooked in 4 minutes. The third try was overloaded with too much topping, It cooked in 5 minutes with a kind of moist center. Still tasty but did not duplicate restaurant style. Since the pizzas cook so fast it is easy to do several pizzas in a few minutes. The family loves the pizzas and are thrilled that each person can have their own personal 9 inch pizza. It cleans up with a wipe of a damp cloth and; Oh! the price is great too.

Works great, cooked a pizza at 475 for 13 mins and the crust was perfect.

Using a pizza steel is a game changer in making great home made pizza in your oven! To use, turn your oven as high as it goes, place the steel on the bottom rack and pre-heat for 45 minutes. The steel will give you a nice crisp bottom crust. If you have a pizza stone you can use it along with the steel. Place it on a rack a few inches above the rack w/ the pizza steel. Now you'll get a nicely cooked top along with a crispy crust, dee-licious!! This pizza steel is an amazing value since most other steels are at least 3-4 times more than this one. If you want to make pizza as good as or better than a pizzeria, try using this steel along with Bobby Flay's pizza crust recipe. SOOO good!

I've had many a pizz stones and all have broke due to time. Read about the pizza steel and thought I would try it. I was delighted that it worked so well, nice crispy crust. Would recommend to all.

I love to use this to grill pizzas! I preheat my grill with the steel and I am able to make the perfect pizza each time! Crispy Crust with perfect bubbles. Easy to clean and use! I highly recommend this product!

this product does not fit the specifications of the product on Walmart.com specifications indicate the product is .47 in. thick when in actuality it is only 1/8th inch thick.
