These are wider and flat. More to them than the original orange pack, but a bit more gentle. Pleasant minty taste. They are easy tonget between the teeth. Even for my husband, who's orthodontist closed his teeth way too tight together. We enjoy using these along with our 7 and 8 year old girls. Our dentist approves as well as our gums. The photo shows these on the right which are white compared to their original orange package which are green.
Plackers are a good brand of floss picks. I have tried green and blue and like them very much. But, I have sensitive gums, so the white have proven to be the best for me! I use them every day, and so does my daughter and son. I would recommend them to everyone who wants to floss their teeth as a part of their tooth brushing routine!
Just what I ordered.
The floss tape is too small. It takes 2 for me to floss all my teeth.
The floss thread does not separate or become fuzzy—which is good but it sags a lot and very quickly! The sagging makes it pretty hard to get in between the teeth and closer to the gum— it honestly makes flossing so much harder. The new design seems to have made the plastic part a little thicker too, which for me personally makes it less comfortable to reach back teeth. Wouldn't buy again.
The normal Plackers floss picks are amazing, but these aren't the same. Yes, they're "gentle", but that means you have to use multiple picks for a single full mouth floss due to the flossing material stretching and becoming uselessly loose. *See picture I got these due to a substitution, so I did not pick these out myself. Stick with the original Plackers on this one.
We use Plackers gentleslide (pink with a sharper hook at the end) which work well, we're a family with tight teeth! We bought these as an alternative as the usual ones weren't available. These are just literal trash. We all go through 3-4 plackers to floss. The floss pulls out almost immediately. The opening is too narrow and it's easy to hit your gum with the edges. I bought 4 packs of these and sent them back. Frustrating, especially from a name brand.
Floss gets loose after flossing only a couple teeth. If you want to floss all your teeth plan on using 10 of these floss picks
Absolutely TERRIBLE!! The thread shreds sooo fast I have to use about 3 per brushing session to clean between my teeth. The pick is absolutely TERRIBLE!! Doesn't reach where I need it most and it's just entirely too flimsy 😣. WHERE ARE THE PURPLE ONES!!!!! PLEASE STOP TRYING TO FIX WHATS NOT BROKEN. BRING BACK THE PURPLE ONES!!! 😫😫😫🥺
Why did they change the design?!?!? They were the best flossers ever and now they hurt and don't work. The edge around the floss is bigger and cut your gums. The pick end is now unusable. Such a disappointment. These were the best and now I will never buy again. You really need to go back to how they use to be not that long ago.
