the pros to this plaid picture frame is that it is already assembled, stick included to use as support to keep frame upright. i like that the round pieces of wood are different in texture to the flat surfaces of the frame. the cons are that it is hard to use anything but paint to cover the surface with. i tried using alcohol based markers to color the beads eith but it bled all over the frame and ended up looking bad.

cute, great for a craft project for kids
Very cute frame. Ready for paint or stain. Only improvement would be if it came with glass to protect the picture. I had a few old frames so took glass from one of those.

A miss for me
Doesn't come with a backing or glass for the frame, wood is pretty good quality, it's a miss due to not having the backing and glass needed for a frame.

I can't believe I have to say this, but this picture frame came without a glass front in it. Not even a plastic sheet. Now I don't happen to have any glass onhand!

Inexpensive and Pretty design but doesn't have a glass or hard back to hold in a picture.

Poor quality
I knew these were unpainted. I was going to paint them. But they are literally almost cardboard- no glass included. Definitely not what I thought. I just threw them away.
