Planet Audio PEQ15 5-Band Parametric Equalizer

My Stepdad had a requirement for this specific unit in the boat. Worked like advertised and really increased sound output.

On time, great product but i will have to buy an amplifier to work with my system.

First of all as i type this review, please remind first time included install to aftermarket car audio system. Mostly had my multiple installs without a equalizer though always wanted to just to see how effective. For the price in general, one was for me, worth a gamble. Second, was skeptical about size for fitness without having to customize car audio insert areas. Intend to upgrade to a dual size stereo deck, for better custom interior look than i have it looking with a aftermarket single deck size. More likely have to fabricate Equalizer to fit other than the second deck appearence better fitting than gap between deck and equalizer. Quality still under observation, hopely 6 months to 1 year, to revist this review for adequate editing with or without progress of equlizer working. The construction quality is good, but it has limited adjustment capabilities like the fully adjustable parametric types. Unfortunately, the better ones are very expensive. I see one complaint about noise caused by this unit, but I cannot verify that; except the super expensive ones will add no noise.
