I paid more for this because the size was larger. BUT, these are OUTSIDE measurements, so it's actually the same size as I coud have bought for less on other sites.

These are great for ammo cans and other items. Roomy and well made for being Plastic. In many ways I prefer these to the metal ammo cans. Will buy more in the future and Walmart has a great price for them!

Very nice sized to be able to use these for carrying part's and tool's for a multitude of things. These are heavy-duty and will hold up to daily use. Unlike other ammo boxes these are definitely well suited for 50 caliber, shotgun and magnum rounds.

Fit 8 boxes of .40 ammo with ease and still had room for other items to keep everything together and to have less clutter -- perfect! I like the taller design to stand boxes up, so you can access what you got, without having to dig to get to the bottom. I didn't really care about the brass latch, but it is a nice tough, and it closes sturdily. Hope this helps and wish you good luck with it, as I know you will like it. These are much better than expected! Thick walls, good size, not too heavy when fully loaded. Just make sure you are ordering the right size (there are 2). I wanted the smaller can so it would be manageable when fully loaded. They also stack nicely. (I didn't actually use them for ammo) They are also great for anything heavy that you want to sort and store in a stackable gasket sealed box.

It is a sturdy box, however the photos show a removable tray inside which mine didn't have, and also photos show a compartment on the lid that opens ,but mine didn't have this either. These features were not mentioned in the description I read however. So Walmart needs to fix this so that product / photos / and description all match. The box itself seems strong and the latch is heavy duty, and carrying handle is great too.

The model in the picture is model %231612. The item received was 1712 as actually writes in description. There is no top compartment or removable tray as shown. It's just plastic ammo can. I wish I had spotted the discrepancy before, I had to go back and look to find the tiny model number in the picture. Otherwise the box is fine.

Box is nice, but all of the pics on the website are wrong except one. This is not the model with the tray, which is what I really wanted. Unfortunately after researching, the model I need isn't carried.

I bought this particular ammo box thinking it would make an excellent toolbox, because the third image in the advertisement shows a tray! There IS NO TRAY INCLUDED with this box, which, in my opinion amounts to false advertisement. The box itself is very nice but when the purchase you made does not match the adverting-I have a problem with that!

What a rip off I am seriously thinking about returning this box. No top tray like the picture shows. Come on dude what comes around goes around remember that!
