It's a pretty handy tacklebox. The removable boxes make it more versatile. Different items can be stored in each box so it's only necessary to take out that particular box for a specific species of fish that you're after, or that type of fishing you are doing.
I use it as my electrical box. It holds all my terminal fastners, as well as strippers, crimpers, volt meter and soldering iron with roon for many othe tools.
This box has lots of room, removable shelf boxes, and you can configure the space to fit all your fishing tackle. Walmart sold it $20 cheaper than other hi-end sports stores.
best tackle box ever.Especially as a gift from my wife
Nice tacklebox, huge amount of storage space
Was easy to use
My husband asked me to order the Plano Guide Series Pro System Tackle Box for him because a couple of his fishing buddies already have one and really like it! When he received his, he was very pleased! It holds alot of stuff, which is a good thing because he has alot of stuff to store in it! BTW, we were very pleased with the service we received from Walmart.com! We received it one week earlier than promised! Thank you!
I bought this one because my 737 got swiped by a Winnabego. I am much more happy with this model than 737 due to the capacity to store more lures and other items. The only downfall is that if you have bobbers, mainly large ones, you have to store them in the top. Other than that there are no faults.
i love the design of this tackle box. good storage easy to get to compartments. the only problem is the clear lid on the top is a "bump latch" where the lid has a little lip that catches on a bump on the bottom and is supposed to close it, but it doesn't quite catch. also the storage tray compartment latches bump into the lid latches so it could be a problem if your in a rush to get things out of a tray...
A disclaimer up front. I did not buy this to be used as a tackle box. Rather it was purchased to replace another, SMALLER, Plano tackle box to hold my cordless drill and related bits, parts, screws, and the like. This thing is a moose. However, that said, the top is just barely deep enough to hold my drill and the individual compartments are just barely big enough to hold some of the hardware I kept in the other Plano tackle box. One compartment in the new box looks like a live well!!! and it swallowed up two of my Black & Decker 18V batteries, plus some other stuff. Box is well made and features four over-center latches to hold everything closed. I'm not going to allow this one to freeze (Vermont) like I did the last one as I pretty sure this led to the premature failure of the latches on the old tackle box. Bottom line. Huge for a tackle box, and probably too big even for my drill stuff. But I'm going to keep it anyway as it is still the best thing for my application.
