Juniper berry essential oil has a sweet woody scent and is a great antioxidant. I add a few drops to my skincare lotion or cream and mix well. I also dilute it with carrier oil and apply it to my abdomen and back. Occasionally, when I need a different scent, I add it to my diffuser and get a relaxing aroma.
Smells amazing. Very quick delivery. Inexpensive
This is a really great oil if you work out ! With Weightlifting or low impact cardio , I use coconut oil and 4-5 drops of this oil and a few drops of frankincense and rub it on my legs and arms after my workouts and :scream: IT MAKES SUCH A DIFFERENCE! No more jello muscles !
I don't know why I didn't add it to my collection sooner?! And I am not sure is it autosuggestion but it smells like Gin&Tonic (Gin is made of Juniper Berries) and I love G&T. For now I only used it in the diffuser to add some freshness - loving it!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this oil. I got it for my husband to rub into his legs after working out. My first thought after my initial sniff was it smells a lot like Tea Tree oil. My husband says it works great on his muscles. I diluted it and rubbed it into his leg muscle that had gotten a cramp in it and was sore. He said he barely noticed any discomfort the next morning after massaging the oil into his leg.
I originally bought Juniper Berry to help with tight muscles in my lower back hips etc. I diluted it at 1% in lotion and even at that low dilution rate it noticably helped keep the muscles from retightening! Also it gave me a calm energy and a clearer mind which really helped with my workload on the job.
As a family that often suffers from congestion I'm interested in trying this oil mixed with coconut oil as a throat rub. I also have a nice recipe for making a lovely face wash. Juniper Berry Essential Oil will soon become one of our favorites I'm sure.
Although the smell wasn't quite what i expected it is great when mixed with lavender in a warm tub. Soaks away all of life s aches and pains...along with worries and stresses. I also like to add a drop or two to and of my fruits in the diffuser for a bit of a twist. Not my favorite on its own but this is my second bottle.
I am not a HUGE fan of the scent but it is not bad. Very fresh and a bit woodsy. not bad but i don't want to smell it all day either. i tried the slimming gel recipe and swapped the basil for frankincense (due to its skin benefits and me not having the basil) and really liked it. I have only used it once so too soon to tell differences but it feels very similar to other wraps that cost a TON more and hopefully will be just as effective.
I've had this for a while and haven't used it too often. No fault of the oil. I just have been using other oils more and want to come back to this one. Recently tried it with bergamot and geranium and I loved it. I do find it light and fruity but at the same time still crisp. Just need to try it in more of my blends.
