[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rely on these every year, starting with geranium seeds in January. They transplant gently and easily into their next stage of 4 inch pots, 6 inch pots, or directly into the garden. No muss, no fuss!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Planted my tomatoes in this and there almost a foot high with a great root system
Can't wait to use! Hold on tomato plants!
Great product for starting seeds. Follow directions and you'll have a convenient way to start transplants. Love them.
I use these every year and they haven't failed me yet. I generally over-seed each pod, then prick-out each seedling. The material in the pods make this method super easy.

First off great customer service! There was an error with order and they fixed it immediately. It shipped fast Plants are doing great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pellets didn't all expand as they should, some never expanded, others fell apart when they did. Out of 25, 3 failed to expand fully, two fell apart, and several others expanded into a lopsided glob of mush that fell over, never reaching full height. I've used these in the past with no issues, but not this size or via mail order.
Sometimes these work and sometimes they don't. If something is slow germinating there is often a white fuzz that grows on them. I do not have this issue if I use seed starting mix.
I have used Jiffy peat pellets for years and have always had good success sprouting seeds, but this year every single pellet produced a stunted seedling. I did nothing different from prior years, everything was exactly the same, and every single pellet produced a tiny unusable plant that never grew beyond a few millimeters high even after a month of waiting. They are not dying, but neither are they growing. It's very bizarre. I'm wondering if there was some kind of fungal contamination in this year‘s batch of Jiffy peat pellets. I'm giving them two stars instead of one because I have had success in all prior years, but consistency needs to be high for me to continue using them and recommending them to others.
