PLANTERS Garlic Chili Crisp Flavored Cashews, 5 oz Resealable Bag

My husband loves anything with heat or spice and these filled that taste for him. I personally can't handle spicy anything, and I'm sure these likely didn't score high on the scoville meter, but it's not a chance I can take. My husband polished off the bag in one sitting, he's a gaming snacker, so at least with these he's getting a healthy snack with a taste that might seem unhealthy. I'll be picking them up for him as an occasional snack since he eats them so quickly.

These are so tasty. The chili flavor is coated all over each cashew. There fresh and They are a great way to get some protein daily. They are not spicy so if that's what you're wanting then you might not like these. They do have a mild spiciness but not overpowering. If you like garlic and chili I recommend giving these a try. I will definitely be purchasing more garlic chili cashews.

I bought this because I love cashews so much!! I feel like the bag could've been bigger. I also love hot and spicy things sometimes. I just knew that the combination would go together so well! It was delicious, and it was a snack that I didn't feel guilty about. I love bags that are resealable like this one. I will be purchasing again!

First of all, I got the product for free in exchange for writing this review. You WILL have a garlicky breath after snacking on a couple of these, which is amazing. If you're a garlic enthusiast, you absolutely should not miss trying these out. I'd just with I could taste the chili a little bit more. I would definitely recommend.

*Planters sent me this free sample of Garlic Chili Crisp Flavored Cashews through the BzzAgent sampling program to review* This is not a flavor that I am used to having. That being said, I did find it very tasty. It wasn't too strong, but wasn't weak either. Definitely a mild kick to it. Some may consider it odd given the mild sweetness of the cashew, but i'd recommend it to anyone who likes this style of flavor! Only negative was that the bag was hard to open.

I really enjoy Garlic Chili Crisp hot oil on almost everything I eat... I was pleasantly surprised to see Planters trying this flavor on cashews. Quite the experience I must say! It's not too spicy at all and more garlicky like a good appetizer would be. I recommend this placing this right next to the pepperjack cheese on a cheese platter and it would be the perfect snack when entertaining.

These added the perfect amount of spice. They were not overly spicy and the flavor was excellent. I think they would go great on a snack plate or just by the handful. I loved how most of the nuts were whole. That is hard to find these days. Very good.

I'm a big garlic lover so these were great. Only thing is I don't think the chili and garlic paired as well together as I thought it would. Still delicious but not sure I would buy this flavor. I recently tried the garlic chili crisp Planters cashews, and unfortunately they weren't my favorite. I was excited for the flavor combination, but it just didn't quite work for me. The garlic and chili flavors felt a bit overpowering and didn't have the depth I was expecting. Instead of a nice balance of savory and heat, the taste came across a little harsh and left an aftertaste that I didn't really enjoy. The cashews themselves still had a good texture, but the seasoning just wasn't for me. Overall, I wouldn't purchase this flavor again, though it might appeal to someone who prefers stronger, more intense flavors.

So these had a decent flavor to them, but I was really expecting them to be more "in your face" with spice. I understand that some people can't handle a lot of spice, but when I think of chili crisp, I think of red pepper flakes marinating in oil. The oil brings out more heat and it's made to be spicy. I enjoyed the garlic being added for extra flavor, but I think it weakened the spice level as well. They're a decent snack on their own, but also might be a nice addition to Ramen.
