I generally don't enjoy tropical flavors but this mix was surprisingly tasty! Also the ratio of nuts and fruit was perfect so you get all the ingredients in every bite. I will definitely purchase in the future. This review was written after receiving this product for free.

I recently received the Planters Tropical Fruit & Nuts Trail Mix for review. As someone who eats nuts daily for the extra protein, I found this mix to be exceptional. The tropical ingredients really set it apart from traditional trail mixes. The cashews are the star ingredient which are rich and flavorful. And they are perfectly complemented by the chewy & sweet pineapple and crunchy & sweet banana chips. This mix is a delightful alternative to standard options, satisfying my sweet tooth and keeping me away from cookies and candy.

We received this as a few sample for an honest review. The yogurt balls were a little big so they sometimes overwhelmed the other flavors,. The banana chips were a great addition and flavorful. It was surprisingly good overall for someone who doesn't usually go for a tropical vibe in a snack mix.

I like the combination of sweet and salty flavors in this tropical mix. The yogurt covered raisins were like a treat and the salty nuts balance the fruit's sweetness. I received this as a free sample in exchange for a review, but I would definitely purchase this in the future!

The mix is great! No added flavors or spices. The tropical fruit is definitely my favorite part of this mix! Absolutely love that cashews were included as well. Way too many peanuts, so once you pick them out (I'm not a fan of peanuts) there isn't much left, but what is left is delicious! Will definitely keep purchasing.

I like the peanut ratio in this mix. There is a good amount of dried fruit, giving it a sweeter taste. It's not very salty. The yogurt is a nice taste and it's not an overpowering amount. There's a normal texture for a trail mix. (received for free in exchange for honest review)

I received this Planters Trail Mix for free in exchange for my honest review. I'm glad I got to try this because the "yogurt flavored covered raisins" were intriguing to me but they were not all I had hoped for. While I can't say they were overpowering, they added a very distinct flavor within the mix. The mix itself tasted pretty good together and leaned more sweet than savory. I did pour some out on a plate to sort the components and despite having a nearly equal distribution of bananas and peanuts, the amount I poured only included one single cashew. There were a few more in the bag but I'd imagine in a 6 serving bag, there are probably fewer than 12 whole cashews in mine.

The quality and taste overall is great in this mix. However, something threw me off with the banana and yogurt flavor mixing. Not quite sure but since taste is subjective I imagine some people love that mix. It isn't bad. It is just something that I don't love. Especially when compared to every other Planters products in existence. Worst of the best is still better than the best of the worst easily. Received this sample product from BzzAgent.

Although I love this option for those that don't like your typical trail mix, I personally didn't love it. I wish the pineapple pieces were of something else like mango, papaya, kiwi, etc. I did love that this mix came with cashews which is my favorite. I also didn't like that there were 2 different raisins one being yogurt covered, I wished the yogurt bites were just that and help break up the various fruits.

I only gave this mix three stars because I am not a big fan of raisins. The mix was good but yogurt covered raisins and plain raisins were just too many raisins for me. If you like raisins this mis is definitely for you. The banana chips are my favorite and the balance of the rest of the mix of nuts to fruit was great.
