The importance of reading the descriptions that are everywhere in plain site is top priority when buying this. Yes, you need Live for this. So what? That doesn't make it any less of an amazing game. One of the all time favorites. And the game itself isn't even expensive, quit whining about you personally being disappointed gifting your son/grandson something you didn't pay attention to and cheaped out on.

Great game! My son loves it but too bad it doesn't have split screen to do 2 player. Also keep in mind this game is online ONLY!

This was the only thing my son asked for on his Christmas list, screaming with joy when he opened it. Would have been nice of the Walmart description included that fact that you have to buy a gold membership to play it. Didn't want to disappoint my son so this game ended up costing a whole lot more than I would ever have paid.

Instead of in small print at bottom of case that it is for Xbox live only you really should put it in the wording I had no clue until my grandson opened it up now I have just wasted 20.00 and have a disappointed grandson for Christmas. Not everyone is familiar enough to actually look at the case

Bought this game for Christmas but we need to be online to play it. Our Xbox has never been connected to the internet and has no plans to be. We had hoped to play it single player and just share but there wasn't even music and nothing could be done. We love this game on PC and had hoped to expand our play. There are 4 very unhappy children in my house this Christmas and a very unhappy mother. If there had been product reviews about this game before I purchased the game, I wouldn't have spent the money.

WARNING! This game can ONLY be played online. This is a glorified rental! To play it you MUST have a Live Gold membership which is $10 per month or $60 per year. This is absolutely insane! The only place it mentions that you have to have an account is the little square box at the bottom of the cover. From what I understand now, only the Xbox360 version is like this??? You'll notice also that Wal-Mart's product description doesn't address this little fact either. This is equivalent to buying a DVD movie only to open the box to find out that to see the movie you have to buy tickets to the theater! Really?????

Due to having 32 bit windows "windows 7" i could not play. Quad core computer thats not that old. No requirements on card. Trying to return it now. Sad kid. Very disappointed... Bill

Was very disappointed to discover this game requires a Gold account to play and the multi-player function in only online. I have one disappointed little boy tonight.

There are no computer requirements listed for this game. After we downloaded and installed it says my processor is not compatible. I have a 2.3 and this requires a 3.0 . Very disappointing for my son since he used his saved up money to buy it. Now I have to go through the trouble of trying to return it.
