Plastic Development Group 130 Gallon Resin Outdoor Storage Deck Box, Gray

I really like this storage box it has a lot of room in it for pool items we use in the summer. I put it on our pool deck and it works perfectly. I was skeptical when I first saw it before I put it together but after I assembled it I changed my mind it's stouter than I thought. It's easy to put together and seems to be weather resistant. The price seemed a little high but I'm happy with my purchase.

Assembled and been using this for almost 2 months now. It is a big box. It's a sturdy box and I like how it has a metal loop for a lock. The hinges are stainless steel and decent quality. The materials quality is 8/10 but the actual build is a 5.5/10. There were deep scratches in a couple of places on my pieces right out of the box - it doesn't affect the use but it shows the lack of care and QA during manufacturing. Some of the female nuts weren't carefully installed so they were at a slight angle but it did NOT really affect assembly of the hinges...it just didnt look perfect. You need a philips head screw driver which it does not include. You'd think they'd include a small allen key with a screw driver head on it or something, at this price. The box and manual also does not tell you that you will need a screw driver. Assembly is easy. The pieces slide and lock together and you screw in the hinges. It's a 1 person job. The base is thick and sturdy enough, I've filled mine with big heavy tools and it hasn't been an issue and I doubt it ever would be. It is weather resistant and so far has not leaked water.

Almost "resists weather elements" - as in the description - until you open the wet lid. Quite a nice product otherwise, I like the double wall construction, definitely not difficult to assemble. Would have given it 5 stars, until it rained on it. The box actually keeps the rain out when lid is closed. But as soon as you open the lid with water droplets still on it, they flow into the box through the back hinge. Quite annoying...

The two of the same end pieces were in the box so it could not be put together. Would not purchase.
