These bags are fairly robust and the ties are stronger than most value trash bags. I bought these for keeping items (dirty vs. clean laundry) separated in my backpack and storing rubbish while traveling. This size is perfect for my needs, but not large enough for the small waste can in my bathroom. Make sure you get the right size for your application.
Many small bags do not have Ties on them. These have excellent ties.
