I bought this step stool because the handle and stool can be set at different levels. My husband has a truck without side steps and I have a difficult time getting in and out due to back problems. This stool works perfectly no for my needs. It's a little heavier for lifting, but I don't mind. I can get in and out without assistance from my husband! It would also be wonderful in the house. It is very sturdy and well made!! I would recommend this to anyone!!

This stepping stool is ideal for an older short person who can't reach the higher shelves in the kitchen. It is sturdy and the rubber feet keep it from sliding on a hardwood floor. I'm 5'2" so it was already at the right height for me, but it could easily be adjusted to a higher step without tools. The handrail was also easy to install without needing tools. I feel more secure in my kitchen but it could be used in other parts of the home.

I am very satisfied with the adjustastep 2-in-1 deluxe step stool/footstool with adjustable handrail height. This step stool has many adjustments so no matter what you need it for you will find the correct height for the stool and the handrail. It is quite sturdy to stand on and although the handle has some movement you don't feel that you could fall.

This is the best stool I ever have used. The base is sturdy and does not move when I get into bed. The rail has not been attached as yet will do before I have surgery. Good Job Cat Neal

The base is quite heavy but must be careful using the hand bar because it seems a little light bordering on flimsy and if pulled without weight could tip the base.
