This movie is an amazing example of what War looks like to those who have been there! When “certain people” in Power (and NO, I'm Not referring to the Politicians who were Voted into office!) realize that they can get Really Rich by keeping the War going, the Soldiers in the Field get to see the Worst of it! When Moral takes a nosedive, they end up seeing the Worst side of their fellow soldiers, And the Worst of themselves!

The absolute best Vietnam War movie.
I believe this is one of the absolute best war movies ever made. Far superior to that cliched Full Metal Jacket.
