Play Day Jumbo Red Bat and Ball, Two Piece Set, Sports Toy Equipment, Children Ages 3+

This Play Day Jumbo bat and ball was just the right size for our 3yr old and 5yr old. We live directly across the street from a community baseball field, and our kids are always over there playing. My 3 and 5yr old are still a little too small to play with the big kids, so I found this Jumbo bat to be a perfect alternative to a real base ball bat. It is very light and easy for little hands to grip. The ball is very light, easy to toss, and hit with the bat. Being that both the bat and ball are much larger, my kids found it very easy to tap and play with it. My 3yr old ended up hitting the ball on her 2nd shot. We played out there for an hour having so much fun. Overall I find this an excellent alternative for any little aspiring baseball loving toddler/preschooler.

Summer is approaching and that means lots of time outdoors. My little one has been asking to join softball. Since there aren't any for her age we thought we could get a head start by practicing at home with the Play Day Jumbo Bat and Ball. The whiffle ball is light enough to be thrown by a child. The bat is also light enough for a child to swing powerfully. We played with it for at least an hour taking turns pitching and hitting the ball. Makes a great gift for any child interested in baseball/softball without the worry of a real ball breaking something.

Ok, I got this for my grandson right.......well, his sister was fighting with him to get her turn. I tell my granddaughter, the bat is his. Well, that did not go well. Long story short, she got her fix and she is actually great at it. They are taking it home and already fighting with mommy about wanting to play and use at all times.

This bat is awesome for younger kids. I picked this up for my 2 year old boy. He struggled hitting a small barrel bat and smaller sized ball since he is two. This bat allows for him to connect with the ball more often as the bat barrel and ball are both oversized but light enough weight for him to swing. This bat will be good for him to use until he is a little older maybe 5 or 6 years of age. At that point he may be able to use other bats that are not oversized. I played baseball all my life and would highly recommend this bat for young toddlers. Great pick up and I'm excited for some warmer weather and trips to the park to play ball!

Oversized bat and ball make it alot easier for my daughter to use this with her existing teeball set. I enjoy the fact that the ball has holes to give less resistance and drag giving a lot of distance with your swing. This is a great set and it has helped my LO with her hand eye coordination as well. She is able to toss it up and hit it much quicker than I anticipated. The ball being so lightweight makes it easier for me to tap it to her for catching as well.

Great toddler beginner set. Seems durable. W haven't actually tried it outdoors yet but inside we practice with the proper positioning. At first I thought it would be too big for my four and a half year old, but it is not. The ball is great for little hands since it has finger holes all over it, yet is still strong. The bat isn't too heavy and although it squishes when you squeeze it hard enough (or step in it) it is sturdy enough that I imagine my almost two year old will get to use it in a couple of years. I picture it next to a rubber baseball that fits in my hand for size reference

This jumbo bat and ball are perfect for my kiddos to play with. The bat and ball are plastic so as a mom I can worry less about them getting hurt or breaking a window. The  large size makes it easier to hit the ball for my kids. The bat is a bright red color and the ball is white with little holes in it which makes it easier for my kids to pick it up. You can't go wrong with this toy set. It's classic, easy to use, and best of all fun!

This was played with by a 3 and 5 year old..its made of plastic. Very bright colored. Sturdy and easy for them to use. Its thinner at the base where you hold it and thicker at the other end. It did help them make more Frequent contact with the Ball. I could see this one lasting a long time in our home..over all its a great product

This set is perfect for all ages down to my 1 year old who although doesn't quite grasp the concept, he can hold the bat and swing. My 7 and 3 year old both had a blast playing with Dad in the backyard. It's easy to teach them how to hold the bat and the ball is big and slow enough to hit. It's heavy duty and durable, easy to clean and store.

This is a basic plastic bat that comes with a large whiffle type ball. The bat is fatter than a traditional bat so it makes it easier for the smaller kids to hit the ball. I plan to take this to the beach every time we go. My only negative is that the whiffle ball cannot withstand a hit from a 6yr old. My daughter played with this bat at the park with me pitching to her and after 5 hits the whiffle ball split in half. Luckily I had extra whiffle balls so she could continue playing.
