This archery set came with a bow, three arrows, and a holder for the arrows. The holder connects to the bow but tends to fall off a lot. I needed to attach the string to the bow, but that was the only thing I needed to do before it was ready to be played with. My three-year-old and six-year-old enjoyed playing with this, but the novelty wore off fast. Now they mostly play with the arrows now. The bow is easy for my six-year-old to pull back, but my three-year-old needs help. The arrows are well-made and durable. The tips are foam, so they don't hurt when hit by one. They light up when they hit something.
This is a great lil beginners archery set. It's for kids but it's NOT your run of the mill 'kiddie set'. It's got enough 'heft' to it that a teen (or even older!) might be able to have a blast with it. Once you get it together (there were no instructions but it's fairly self explanatory) you'll see that the 'training arrows' are nice, solid, & will go far enough to make it a good game for your family. It has NO sharp edges for anyone or thing to get injured with. That's always a plus with our bunch of boys! All in all, we think you'll be pleased with this! Notice the size in the pics with my 6 ft tall husband holding it!
My son always wants to try out his older sisters archery bow but its too hard for him to pull back on his own. This toy is great for kids too small for real archery bows. The arrows have soft tips and light up. You do have to assemble but it was simple, the string just ties on and the other parts just snap in place.
This LED Archery set is a fun toy for the kids. They especially like it when it is a little dark outside and they can really see the arrows light up. It comes disassembled but is easy to put together. I like that the arrows have a spot on the bow so you can keep it all together. It shoots pretty far and it is nice the arrows have a foam tip to protect the arrow and other kids. It is also a nice size for the kids to carry around.
This is a great product the arrows are really cool they light up and look really good especially in the dark the bow is easy to hold and the arrows easy to shoot my son loves it it's fun to play with and is a nice toy to have day and night it's simple and fun and the lights are a nice touch it's made really well I would definitely recommend
This LED archery set is a lot of fun. It takes a little bit to figure out how to put it together because it didn't come with any instructions. The three LED arrows a pretty cool when they light up. The arrows have a nice foam tip on them so you don't have to worry about them damaging anything they hit.
Our 6 year old son seems to enjoy this bow and arrow set. We actually have a real bow and arrow, but he hasn't quite developed the strength to use it yet. This is great for developing the muscle memory for bow and arrow skills since it is very lightweight. There were no instructions in the box, so you are on your own to assemble, including the bow string, which comes loose easily. The arrows do light up, but they are hard to see unless it is pitch black. The quality is mediocre. Pieces were falling off the arrows within the first few minutes. We kepts repairing it, but it gets annoying.
The Led lights broke the first day we used it, which is sad really for how much we paid for it. The bow and arrows are great. They are light weight and suitable for young children; our 4 year-old loves it and played with it a good amount of time even though the lights broke. That said for the money, and knowing that lights won't work after a couple of uses, it is definitely not worth it. There are a lot of options out there at literally 1/5th the price, but they do not have the LED lights, those would have been a better choice...
This Play Day LED Archery kit is fun! Both of my sons ages 6 and 4 enjoy it. It is a bit awkward to hold for my four year old, but he is getting the hang of it. The picture shows the arrow lit up and that is the best part! It is not made of super high quality materials, but so far has not broken. The ends of the arrows have a super soft material that prevents me worrying about someone getting hurt. Overall, it is not a product I would buy again after it's done, but it is enjoyable for my kids. I would probably not recommend due to the low quality. I would do my research to find something that should last a bit longer.
A little difficult for small children to hold and use, but overall lots of fun. The bow was pretty easy to set up- there are two pieces that snap onto the hand grip (be careful to make sure they are oriented the correct position as once they're snapped in there is no removing them). Then you thread the string through the holes and tie a knot. There are no instructions included so I didn't know how tight to make the string but after some trial and error I figured it out. The hilt that attaches to the bow I felt was pretty hard to attach but very easy to remove which was frustrating as my child would accidentally knock it off and ask for help reattaching every few minutes. The three arrows that come with it are really neat and do not look very bright during the day but fully light up at night. It took me a minute to figure out there is no on/off switch on the arrows- you have to kind of bang them to get them to light up. Which is great for little kids who constantly forget to turn off the switch. But not so great overall as once the batteries are dead you cannot replace. Unfortunately, only 2 out of the 3 arrows in my box worked which was a bit disappointing but still fun to play with during the day. Threading the arrows was a bit tricky for my 6 year old but once she got the hang of it she had a lot of fun. I am grateful for the foam tips as these things can really pack a punch depending on how tight you make the string.
