Keeping it sanitary
I like this small size for children learning to use play dough. Little children put hands in their mouth and touch the dough or try to eat the dough. Having smaller portions in their own container can be reused by same child. If too slimy you throw out a small amount. Keeping it more sanitary. It's a great party size.

My mom hack for any kid travel item. Add pipe cleaners, googly eyes to a ball of play doh and make a play doh monster. My kids are so excited when they find this in their travel backpacks

So fun
We use these for goodie bags for our toddler's birthday party. They were so fun and the perfect size I was able to make stickers that fit perfectly on the top to customize. 100% loved this purchase.

Stocking up for Halloween
We purchased these cute 1 oz Play-doh cans to give out for Halloween in lieu of candy. We would spend the same, if not more on candy, and this will last longer too. Every year we try to pass out Play-doh and the kids, both young and old, express how COOL or AWESOME it is. Walmart was the ONLY retailer to have the 1 oz cans of Play-doh.
