Play Platoon Bricks Wheels, Tires, Axles, Windows PP-B1120P Building Set (1100 Pieces)

If you are like me, really all you want to know is if these work with Lego and the answer is yes! And at less than half the price and the same quality. The bag is mostly just the regular bricks, either single row or double but there are a few slanted pieces, wheels, eyes, and those kind of blocks that have the spot on the side so you can build out. When you place it next to a lego of the same type, can you tell the difference? Yes, but only if you are up close and looking hard. I would buy these one hundred times over.

Got these as a Christmas gift for my great-grandson to add to the collection of building blocks he has. They say they're compatible with all major brands which I hope is true. I picked these for the different pieces they had in this set, windows and doors and these were more reasonably priced than the major brands with these items.

So, if you're looking for something to occupy your kids (and maybe even yourself!) for hours, get your hands on this set! 1100 blocks are all shown in my pictures!! I had no idea how that many blocks would look but this is a ton. It's a great selection to of different sizes, shapes and colors. Comes with 8 wheels (the tires come separated, you have to put them together yourself), 4 windows and doors and the shutters and doors open and close (again, you have to insert the shutters and door yourself). We opened this set yesterday while I was making dinner and my kids played well into bedtime and then started playing again this morning, just creating different things. Another great thing is they fit together with mainstream brands of blocks just fine and the kids don't even know the difference. The possibilities are endless with this set, there is so much room for creativity! I definitely recommend this set!

My 8 year old son is absolutely obsessed with the original building bricks, he has more sets than I'd like to admit and he's eager to keep building and creating. But it can really add up quickly. I've even gotten bricks from the dollar store, but they definitely aren't the same quality. So when I saw this giant bag of 1,100 of interlocking bricks I jumped on them! When I received the bag I couldn't believe how many it actually was! The bag is huge and heavy and full of so much variety. The quality is exactly the same as the og brand name. I can't believe it! Honestly I'm so thrilled I found these for my little master builder. Now for his opinion- he can't tell the difference at all! He loves that it has a variety of colors that way he can add on to sets he already has going and build new creations as well. He is literally giddy! When he saw the huge bag he was as shocked as I was with the size and his eyes just lit up! We are both so happy with the quality and variety of colors this has. He even found an eye, which apparently is rare in a big bag like this. I would honestly 100% recommend this! It would excellent for a Christmas or birthday gift in my opinion. I'm not usually this excited to review an item but this far surpasses my expectations!

My five year old and 8 year old love playing with building blocks together. This integrated set provides them with enough pieces to create masterful creations. The creative play is something that they really enjoy. It is similar to real life minecraft or Roblox for them. They really enjoy these types of activities.

Lots of pieces. Identical to brand name legos. 4 windows were various colors (blue, white, green, and black. No shutters though, like the old classic ones. The doors were a little disappointing, but still nice because they are hard to find. Classic lego doors were 5 bricks high. These are 6 bricks high. They are a little too tall for classic city lego people, but they are close enough. And I didn't get the Jail bars looking door. that was shown in some pics in the product ad. There were two classic doors as pictures both whitish gray color w/ 4 window panes at top half. Then there was a solid clear see through door and the fourth door was solid black with no windows. The clear one and black one are kind of cheap looking. But again, it is so hard to find doors and windows now. There were wheels and axels. Several unique pieces. And tons of multi colored standard bricks of varies sizes. Just can't beat this price for this amount of legos. There is no base piece, but there are several flat thing long pieces that could be put together and used as a base if you don't have one. There were lots of small round "eyes" (not much use for those pieces. But overall, a very nice addition to the families collection of legos. I bought this to add to the brand name kit I paid a ridiculous price for that didn't even have one window or one door and no people. Lego brand name has gotten ridiculously overpriced and nothing like they use to be. This is a much cheaper option. If this one had a few city people it would be perfect.

I LOVE building blocks! My kids LOVE them too! We have so much fun creating cities and towns together. The creativity is only as limited as your imagination. That's what I love about these! They encourage thought, creativity, imagination, planning, and working towards an end goal that has an amazing reward; hours of playing and fun! This bag is so much bigger than I thought it was going to be. So many building blocks and diverse selection of colors! Quality seems to be great too! You really can't go wrong with buying these!

This building set is great. So many pieces that two children can build together without fighting. With windows, doors, wheels and eyes the building possibilities are numerous. I tested them with other brands and they connect perfectly. They even connect well with our blue brick plate ( not included in this set). As long as you reinforce your build ( YouTube videos are so helpful with this) they are very sturdy. I do wish there were more brick shape options but this a wonderful set to start out with or add to ones you already have. I see my children have many hours of fun with them.

My 6 year old granddaughter loves building with blocks .. she started as a toddler with the traditional wooden blocks (just to stack), moved on to large connecting bricks and is now building with these mini bricks. This is a wonderful "starter" set as it includes not only bricks but windows, doors, wheels, axles, corner pieces, etc. so your building possibilities are virtually limitless. I did purchase a set of building base plates (10 x 10 size) as it makes it much easier for "little builders" to create their masterpieces and also allows her to build something, leave it for a while, them come back and work on it some more. I think bricks are wonderful for children as it definitely help with dexterity, hand eye coordination and spatial planning. However, only give your kids age appropriate sized bricks -- these are definitely not ones for young children as they can easily be swallowed. Just thought I would put that out there -- grandma thing lol. These bricks are also compatible with the major leading brand of building blocks and you can mix and match your sets. I did not purchase the name brand building bases either but rather a very inexpensive generic brand and have had no problems attaching bricks to the base - some of the bricks are a little stiff and my granddaughter needed help "pushing them" down onto the base - but we love working on these together and coming up with our own creations. Our granddaughter loves pink so we got the set with the softer colors. Overall am absolutely 100% satisfied with these blocks and recommend them highly for any brick builder. Let your imagination run free ....
