Playmobil: The Secret of Pirate Island (DVD)

My grandson loves anything to do with pirates and this movie fits the bill. He's 2 1/2 and would watch this over and over all day if we let him. It has cute songs, is interactive so you can change it up, or let it play as is. Thumbs up!! Very cute production.

I bought this for my 3 yr. old granddaughter,and she loves it. She can decide what she wants to happen in this movie, so it makes her remember what we did the last time and helps her imagine what will happen the next time. When I bought it, I didn't realize it was interactive, but I'm glad it is. Highly recommend.

We rented this movie this weekend. My 4 yr old son LOVED it. He said this "pirate movie has the same ship as me" and my 8 yr old daughter loved it because she was able to decide what the characters next move was. My kids watched it 2 times back to back and saw 2 different endings. The second time around I made sure my son was able to choose options and my daugter got angry because something didn't happen the second time like it did the first time but was really excited about the different ending and actually told her brother "you made a great choice, I really like that ending!" Even if you let you younger child watch the movie without the remote, the story will continue without you choosing any options...good to know since I won't let the 4 yr old touch the remote! This movie even caught the attention of my 2 year old son and myself! Try this movie, you won't be disappointed!

This is like the books "Choose your own ending". The child watches the movie and then has to make choices (ex = search attic or search yard). Easy for child - just an arrow click. My grandson watches it over and over - and chooses different paths each time. Characters are playmobil style, just like he plays with. I will buy more of these if and when Sony makes them. You will not be disappointed.

My 4 yr old son (almost 5), LOVED this movie! I did, too! It was great how you got to choose different paths throughout the movie, and ultimately, different endings! He also loved the songs throughout the movie. I hope Playmobil comes out with more movies! HIGHLY recommended!
