My niece is a big fan of knitting, and has done a number of projects in the past. However, he was very interested in trying out the Little Knitty Bittys Bear and see if it could add to her skillset while spending time with her cousins. She was familiar with all of the tools included in the kit, and enjoyed having an adorable keepsake of her efforts. In the end, she picked up a few tricks for knitting smaller projects, and had a great time spent creating!

My daughter loved her Little Knitty Bittys Bear crochet set. It comes with the cutest little Bear, 3 different colored yarns, a crochet and sewing needle and a yarn loom. She was able to make her bitty bear a cute pompom hat, sweater and cape. The instructions are super detailed which made making the clothes really easy. Really fun and cute. Great for kiddos wanting to learn how to crochet and knit.

I got this Little Knitty Bitty Bear for myself and it's so cute! I enjoyed knitting the hat so far and I'm looking forward to completing the rest of the set. The directions have been easy to read, and I have had no problem knitting the bears beanie. I love that the box doubles as a little display case for the Little Knitty Bitty Bear, as well as storage for the yarn and tools.

My teenage daughter really enjoyed this crafting toy! She already had experience with making hats on a loom for people, and she was super excited to have the ability with this set to now make smaller ones for her dolls. It works great! The process is slightly different than making hats on a larger loom, but she was able to pick it up quickly and enjoys working with it just as much as she enjoys making big hats. Highly recommend this one!

My kids have a lot of fun playing with their PlayMonster Itty Bitty Knitty set. They love doing crafts, so they took to it right away and couldn't wait to get started. This kit includes the knitting loom, two plastic knitting tools, three skeins of different colored yarn and a plastic animal friend, who kids knit hats and clothes for. This is a great set to get kids interested in knitting and is easy enough my 7 and 9 year olds were able to do it with little help once shown what to do. The directions are clear and pretty easy to follow, and it's easy to get in the rhythm of wrapping the yarn on the loom. Overall, this kit was fun and something we will continue to use regularly when we feel like crafting.

My sisters and I played with something similar when we were young. We had a loom with a crank and we would make clothes for our dolls. This Little Knitty Bittys craft kit contains everything you need (except for a pair of scissors) to make accessories for the cute little woodland figure included in this kit. My kit came with a pink bear and varying shades of blue and purple yarn. The instruction sheet is very descriptive with clear instructions (words and illustrations). We started by making the hat. The suggested minimum age is 7 years; in my opinion, it would be very difficult for a 7 year old to work on this kit independently. I started the project, supervised and monitored our 7-year old, and after many attempts, ended up taking over and working on most of the project. I believe a 10 year old (or older) could complete this project with minimal guidance. This kit provides plenty of yarn for multiple projects and provides children an introduction to working with a loom and knitting. The needle and hook are very kid friendly as they are made from plastic and have dull, blunt tips. My plan is to bring it to my niece who will be turning 11 this month when we visit her; she will have a better grasp on how to read the instructions and more mature hand-eye coordination. I predict she will enjoy making clothing and accessories for this cute woodland creature.
