It's a precious little nightlight. I purchase two of these for my 7 year old twins. One of my daughters has nighttime jitters and always wanted lights left on. We had purchased night lights and even left the aquarium light on, but it wasn't working. I don't know why I didn't think of them sooner. They absolutely love them! They are soft and huggable. It gives them both comfort if they wake up. All they have to do is press it's tummy for a gentle glow. I'm really thankful that there is a "lights only" option. It will also play music with the light if you prefer, but can be a little loud at night. These are so much better than some of the recent years' remakes I've seen. I'd highly recommend if your on the fence. The only slight setback is I felt they were a little expensive given their smaller size.

This is simply perfect! The soothing light, the wonderful music! Please bring this back! I've already bought two, just in case they wouldn't be available for my grandson, but one stopped working now. I came to look for new backup one, and it's not available! Please start manufacturing this again!

Marvelous! What a throwback to my own childhood! I'm an old but proud momma at 41, thanks to our surrogate. One of my most treasured childhood possessions was my green glowworm. Knowing that my son now can have the same experience is too cool. I really like the look of this glowworm, and it plays all sorts of enchanting music. He really enjoyed it today when I was supervising him for naptime. (Of course, don't leave any plushies in the crib unsupervised!)

My daughter loves it! She cant keep her hands off it!

This was a great buy it was a perfect gift for my nephews first birthday. He loves it. I definitely recommend this product to others.

A little one in my life wasn't feeling good and I thought this GloWorm might make him feel better based on the many positive reviews from those who had these as kids or gave them to their children. I never had seen one in real life and was excited to give it to the little one. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed from the moment I got it out of the package. It's not as soft as I thought it would be, and it's heavier than I thought, which isn't ideal for a toddler who likes to throw things and has a strong arm for it. I felt like it was outdated but not like it's old-fashioned. It just didn't feel or work like a modern product would. For example, the sound component is a little hard to operate and there's no option for the Gloworm to light up its face but not sing the songs. Here's why that mattered to us: The lullaby songs reminded us of funeral music. You could see them as calming but they made two of us sad, and the little one constantly chose other, more cheerful musical items. Please forgive me if you love the music; this is just my impression of it. All in all, I just wasn't impressed and I won't give it as a gift in the future. I also am sorry to say that I wish I hadn't researched real glow worms. If you love it, I'm happy for you!

I received this item in exchange for a review. This is such a comforting & cute worm and it operates entirely by tummy presses. Every time bedtime or naptime rolls around she likes to hold it while it plays the soothing lullabies to lull her off to sleep. The music is pleasant and not annoying. There’s a Velcro pocket in the back where you can replace the battery. Overall it's a winner!!!

We received the glo worm about a week ago. Our daughter (3) has used it a couple of times, but it not usurped her other plushes. The glow worm would probably have more success with an infant without a wide selection of plishes to choose from. The glow worm is durable, so it should stand up well. The packaging is open faced, so the plish will need to be wiped down before handing it off.
