Very pleased with this playstation 4 and all other Sony products I have purchased! all is up side no down side to any of the sony products in my home .well worth the money !!!

I am a grown adult who has never given up my video games. The graphics are crystal clear, the user friendliness is top notch and getting an account set up was as easy as pie. I did not like the fact you can not play ps3 games without spending more money, but so is life.

This was purchased for my college age boys. They have had the PS3 for years, so we upgraded to the PS4. They love the Call of Duty games and the graphics on this machine are unreal! (By unreal I mean they are so realistic it is uncanny!) The images look like a movie rather than digital images. It is amazing. The only complaints I have heard from my guys is that you have to pay an annual fee for some membership or such, that you didn't have to do with PS3. No biggie, it isn't much, but it was just the issue. The other complaint, still not a huge deal, is that the PS4 only plays Blu-ray. You cannot play DVD's on this machine like you can the PS3 - it will only play Blu-ray. Overall, a great system. My boys love it!

I have played games on the pd4 and the only game worth playing was Destiny. I hate the pay to play concept of the ps network just like i hate xbox live. Its too expensive and you dont get enough benefit. Overall things are expensive and I dont think its worth it.

Foolish me -- my grandson wants a PS4 for Christmas so I ordered one, only to be told I ordered the wrong one. In trying to save a little money, I ordered from a vendor instead of WalMart. When I returned the item, I discovered there was a restocking fee, which wouldn't have happened if I'd purchased from WalMart, itself. Although UPS has confirmed that the vendor received the item back 9 days ago, I still have not received the refund (minus the restocking fee) so I don't have the money to purchase the correct one. The closer we get to Christmas, the more afraid I am that all my grandson will find under the tree is an IOU. A word to the wise: make sure you're ordering from WALMART, not a vendor.

I have truly enjoyed playing games on the PS4. games look amazing and the console just does an amazing job with games....but... It is seriously lacking features and apps that I actually use. It does not include the ability to use Pandora Radio, Video over IP like Skype, and DLNA to name a few. A computer system this awesome should be able to do these things. The system won't even play a CD...I know that no one uses them anymore, but really! If the system is going to include a disc drive then it should be able to play a CD. I give it 2 stars because of the glaring omission of obvious features.

The box was damaged when received

It runs hot in 5 minutes and the fan on the game is loud like something is wrong with it

When i bought the ps4 refurbished it came all new except the controller which it was used and not functional. Very disappointing
