With my assembling and showing how my 4-5 year old grandson how to use it safely (don't stand over the rocket while pumping air) he was able use it, and I was able to enjoy sitting on a lawn chair. That's a win. It was flying around 30 ft with him. Of course I got it flying over 100 ft. So it is possible to get it stuck in trees, houses, etc. The yellow nose is made from a soft durable material so landing on concrete isn't a problem.
This water-powered rocket launcher is such a fun way to bring science to life. It’s easy to set up, and kids get a hands-on look at how air and water pressure work in real time. The rockets launch high and keep things exciting, while still being safe and educational. It’s been a great addition to our homeschool routine; learning feels more like play! 🚀
I am extremely happy about this purchase! Grandson turned 9 and he loves hands-on science and all things outdoors. Came this all the parts, just need water and 3 water bottles to secure rocket launch base. The box is "Marked" 14 but the description online lists 8 so I took a chance. Glad I did, he was so excited! Easy to set up, easy sept by step for my grandson and off it went. Fun all day and any day he visits he can do it all over again and again. I highly recommend this educational toy.
My son is autistic and loves these STEM toys as do his parents! They help him achieve his highest interaction and concentration which is hard to do because everything else seems to be too easy for him and he gets bored with it. Love how all this rocket needs is water from your hose to power. This kit came with everything you need except the water of course and was very easy to put it together.
I got this as a goft for my 11 year old. I think its a perfect mix of science and fun. I have been looking for more stem activities and things for young kids that even my younger two can get in and help with and this is for sure it. I am really impressed with this!
I got this for my 5 year old son who loves everything space and science. We built the rocket together and that was fun for him to see how everything connected. The instructions were simple and we got it together in about 20 minutes. We launched the rocket in a field and had so much fun learning and adding different amounts of water to see the difference in power and height. This was a fun project to do together as an activity and learning experience. We got a group of friends to launch it with us, all were also 5 year olds who were able to each take a turn. It is great that the rocket is durable enough that you can reuse the rocket as many times as you would like.
Kids had a ... Blast!
Was recommended for an older child but with adult help we had fun and it was not hard.
Bought as fun toy for when grandkids (ages 3/5) visit. They LOVE it but I find it a bit cumbersome as in order to get the rocket to shoot I have to hold the launcher and get sprayed with water every time it takes off. I don't know if they pull too hard or it's that it isn't all that steady as it is made of pretty cheap plastic. The kids think it's a riot and love chasing it but I end up drenched! It was fun for them to learn how it works and launch it over %26 over. So all in all it is a fun toy though a bit over priced.
So i got this for my kids and i see the age was listed as 8 but the box says 14 . It looks dangerous and definitely need adult supervision
