Pleasant Hearth FA017SB Mission Style Fireplace Screen

I ordered this to protect my children from touching the hot glass on the gas fireplace. Based on some reviews I was hesitant to order and get a damaged one but decided to take a chance given its the style I wanted (rectangle and clean lines). I checked other websites for reviews and pricing and Walmart had the best deal. This item arrived very quickly within 3 business days. No damages whatsoever, and fits my fireplace perfectly. It feels very sturdy and I'm able to tuck in both sides to my fireplace so I feels very secure.

I attached it at one end (with cable ties) to make it easier to fold back out of the way for cleaning out the ashes . This isn't necessary, but just simplifies the cleaning operation . This screen is well made and looks very nice .........and the price ($99.99) is excellent .

This "Mission Style Fireplace Screen" design fits my homes interior architectural styling. Units of measurements appear to be Systems International S.I. metric. The height is 32 inches. The large center panel is approx. 27 inches wide. The narrower end panels are approx. 13 inches wide. The color is chocolate brown. Construction is medium duty. Black would be more universal.

Perfect size, great look

Having to baby proof our wall heater in the kitchen, this 3 panel fireplace screen is the perfect thing. My husband had to mount it on the walls to keep it in place to block of the wall heater. It was close to a corner and we used both walls to mount it in place. Now the baby is safe!

We got this to replace our 90s brass fireplace cover. The old one was able to be removed easily, this one just sits in front of the fireplace, it does not attach to anything, but it is pretty sturdy and steady so I am not worrying about it falling down. It can fold to different lengths so could prob fit many different size fireplaces. It is no glass panels like the picture looks like, it is a metal screen, but it looks good. I would recommend, definitely an inexpensive way to update your outdated fireplace.

Looks nice, but mine came with a small dent and it is really light weight. Also be aware of the height. Many screens are shorter on the sides, this one is not and therefore does not fit the same as my last one did (my fault for not noticing). All in all, if it fit properly, I would purchase it again for appearance alone.

Nice sturdy screen. Would have given it 5 stars, but it arrived with a few scrapes. Not sure how that could have happened as it was bubble wrapped. Using it to protect my grandson from the hot glass of my gas fireplace.

Very nice screen. Made well and looks great. The color was more brown than black which is what I needed. Had to return it.
