Perfect!

Exactly what we were looking for as a coffee table in our family room. Complements the plow and hearth fireplace screen and tools in the room, and provides an easy-care, casual warmness.

Sturdy & handsome table/bench

Stephanie June 21, 2017

I have a small living room, so I use this for a coffee table instead of a bench. It works perfectly. Plow and Hearth must have improved on the packaging, as mine arrived with just one small tear. It was easy to put together and complements the room.

So glad I bought it

MARCIA April 27, 2020

This is a really great table. Perfect as a coffee table. I love the look of the old wood. Very sturdy. My only problem with it was that it was kind of heavy for a 70 year-old woman to put together by herself, but I did manage it by myself. Goes well with my other rustic end tables. So glad I purchased it, love it!

Love this bench

Lisa December 11, 2016

I purchased this as a decorative yet usable piece of furniture for my entryway inside my home. I was a little nervous about the price, but I decided to purchase it anyway. I LOVE my purchase. This bench is beautiful and very easy to assemble. Some reviewers were upset about the "decorative " legs and the position they were on the bench, but this was not an issue for me. The bench is well built and the wood is amazing. I am pleased with this purchase and have been asked several times where I purchased it. I would recommend this bench to others.

Keeping this bench.

Teresa December 15, 2016

Really like this bench. It works perfectly in my entry way. Very easy to put together and sturdy. The only caution is if you are a single woman, when it arrives, it is a very heavy and awkward to handle box (78 lbs). UPS delivered mine and did not comply to all the stickers and warnings on the box; heavy and needing to be handled by two people. The box was in shreds and obviously not handled by two people. I was concerned about possible damage to the piece. Thanks to all the individual bench pieces being boxed and bubble wrapped my bench was not damaged.

GREAT PRODUCT!

Jay June 22, 2017

After a modest straight-forward assembly, the weighty bench (an asset) was positioned in our front entry's courtyard (see image). What concerned me at the offset was that one of the bench's wood slats was very distressed and the remaining slats looked nicely worn by time. It rained last night and I noticed that the hollow in the distressed slat was filled with water (I am concerned about this, see image). The iron legs look to be casted or molded in that one side of each leg is 'detailed' and the other side appears unfinished or flat. For whatever the reason, the finished side of each leg faces inward and the unfinished side faces outward. It is my opinion that the legs' finished sides should be seen beneath the short sides of the bench rather than hidden beneath the bench. Needless to say, the bench is truly a 'keeper' . . . it could easily be engineered anew to satisfy the most discriminating customers like myself.

Heavy duty bench

Kathy December 22, 2016

I had read the online reviews before purchasing where some had said the smooth side of the legs faced inside instead of outside. the manufacture must have listened because they they now face to the outside and the rods are long enough to adjust. Bench is sturdy and is a nice addition to the front entrance way. If you have another person to help you put it together that helps.

Very sturdy and looks great.

Nichole December 12, 2017

We love this. Very sturdy. It is a bit too reclaimed for my husband but I love the variations. The dips have all been smoothed so there is no danger of snagging on rough wood. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars vs 5 is that a small piece on the corner chipped off during shipping. We plan to just glue it back on and if that doesn't work, we will just sand it down to match. Fairly easy to assemble once you realize the flat part of the legs faces out and not in like you think.

Don't know if I will purchase another bench

Robert January 12, 2017

This product was suppose to be a Christmas gift. The bench arrived in a box that looked like it was run over by a bus. It had been taped over and over again. It is hard to believe you would release a product in this condition to a customer. When my husband picked it up hardware was falling all over our foyer. When we contacted customer service they wanted you know if the contents was damaged. Why would I attempt to open a box that had been through the war, why would I spend $200 plus for an package that had been shipped and returned a couple of times. I wanted a new bench. I cannot tell you what the new bench looks like since I shipped it to my house in Texas - will find out next week how this bench arrived. Your company needs to employ better quality control measures.
