I looked around for MANY YEARS to find arbors of 'quality' and 'scale' to last for MANY years in the creation of my 9-GATED-garden. I now now have '6' of these with wanting still another 2 or 3 to complete the ""9 Gates of Consciousness' in my Shamanic garden where I have the CODED patio (chessboard, I-Ching, 4-tribes of man, etc.) and the fire-pit for great conversations! ... Next year I am hoping to add the iron bench arbor and possibly 2 or 3 regular arbors for vegetable & plant vines to climb on the Western border... WELL DONE! Thank you! Only WISH I could get these ON SALE at other times of the year ...I've had to WAIT for the 'next sale' twice now (over two years) to complete my plans for the 9-gated levels (dimensions) of Consciousness GARDEN (plus 1!) .. NICELY done ! :-)
This is a darling Arbor, solid and charming. I was able to put the whole thing together in under 60 minutes. It's important to be aware that each piece has a front and a back, based on the welding, and that before you tighten all the screws [even thought you think you have it right] hold off.. . all the holes have to match and align across, the gates are both up front, then tighten the screws at the end. I am excited to have Pink Jasmine grown up the side walls. I've had this on my wish list for 3 years, I am so glad I finally said yes.. it's well worth the money.
Lovely arbor and very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and install. The scrollwork is very pretty and the gates make it perfect for the back of our yard. The ""spikes"" are not very no so we anchored it with additional, longer spikes. I really love it and can't wait to see my vines blooming on it.
This is a gorgeous, well-constructed, simple-to-assemble arbor and gate, and I am thrilled that we chose it! I did a great deal of shopping around and research on arbors before choosing this one, and so I can assure you that it is the best one for the price out there--or, at least it was when I ordered it. I have no complaints whatsoever: it looks beautiful on our yard; the gate swings freely, and it latches both easily and securely; the arbor and gate are built to last. I recommend it highly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely an attractive addition to our yard. Assembly directions are not the best and the gate latch could be better, but again overall I am pleased with the purchase.
The arbor was everything I had hoped it would be, well constructed, nice quality. However, the instructions only show the items that should be included and pictures of how to put it together. You have to examine the drawings closely because there are no written instructions, so I removed one star for the poor instruction quality. Once it was put together, I loved it!
It was not very easy to put together. It took us over an hour. If you put the spikes all the way in the ground, the gates drag the ground...photo deceiving. It started to rust at the joints the first day the irrigation hit it. We ended up placing the legs on pavers and then clamped it to the fence panels on either side to stabilize it. We painted the whole thing with black gloss rustoleum spray paint. After all that, it looks great!
The overall arbor and gate look nice and the construction was relatively easy and quick. The gate latch mechanism is a joke though. We bought this to keep a toddler and dogs out of a garden area and are going to have to retrofit another latching mechanism. A light breeze will push open this gate.
This gate was easy to assemble and looks really good in our garden. Two negatives...the throw for the latch should be longer and the gate should be a bit taller. We have had deer hop right over it. (My mistake...should have realized it wasn't tall enough.)
I purchased this arbor in May of 2019 and the unit is rusted and has and has rust holes. It's been like this for several years. Time to replace it with another brand.
