Grandson loves robots, so this was a hit.
My 6 year old requested these because they have them at school, and he loves them.
With 2 grown adults and a 4.5 year old who is almost 5 years old this took over an hour to build and figure out. Even my engineer husband had trouble with these tiny pieces. Me, being more visial this helped but my almost 5 year old boy got easily frustrated after 20 minutes and kept asking if we are done. Eventually we finished and it was a really cool mini robot. Afterwards, our son had fun taking it apart and placing it back in the tube it came in. While this is challenging for the whole family, I do feel it's better for the older children who have more patience. I think ideal age is 7 to 10 years old. My nephew is 8 and had more fun building this. Otherwise great for the mind, affordable and less screen time! What more could a parent want?! I would recommend this product to others with older kids. Makes it a great gift!
