Plus Series DT-270F Dual Temperature Hot Glue Gun

I am a crafter and love this product! It heats up quickly .the stand is sturdy and makes gluing so much easier I don't have to worry about where to set it down. I especially like the dual temperature and I have not burned myself!!!!

This "Plus Series DT-270F Dual Temperature Hot Glue Gun" is awesome. The gun warms up very quick and the detachable stand is nice. The stand holds the gun in a level way with the tip is not pointing down. I like this because there is no glue dripping down as it gets warm. The heat guard on the tip is perfect for keeping you from getting burned. The glue from the sticks is clear and holds very strong. The gun can be laid on it's side as well if needed. This hot glue gun is great for the kids to use under a watchful eye. It is neat and will glue almost anything.

Received my Surebonder Full Size Standard Dual Temperature Stand-Up Glue Gun with Safety Fuse, 40 Watt and found immediate use as additional support for hangers carrying heavier loads. As shown, the stand feature works beautifully. It also works on cloth, plastic and wood; as well as making rugs nonskid, with a few dabs here and there.. It's great for applying decorations to almost any surface, including a quick stick to a wall for posters or other decorative items. This glue gun works as it's supposed to and has 2 settings, high and low depending on what material you're working on. Because of its stand-up design there's minimal drip. All things considered, it a great all-purpose gluer to have standing by in my household toolkit.

On the third, crossing ribbons and metal fastenings. Each came together very easily and I'm impressed with how quickly things went. It took me longer to decide on which embellishments to use than the time I spent decorating them! SUREBONDER turned these hats into a fun project and we all need to have a bit of fun!!

I thought this was going to be just another glue gun. But no, this thing has two settings: high and low. It also came with a pack of starter glue sticks. No instructions, but that's fine. Once you've seen one he gym, you've seen them all... Except for this one. The kick stand is a game changer. I didn't have to babysit the gun while I was making my project. This is excellent to deter a curious toddler. Grip is good, solid. No heat transfer to the hands. Casing has texture so that it doesn't slip out of your hands. Fast heat. Pros: hands free stand. Stands upright on its own. Cons: none. But I wish it came in pink.

This glue gun is electric and the cord is lo g enough to be able to use it efficiently. It gears up quickly and comes with several glue sticks to get you started. The trigger pulls in easily to let the glue come out at a steady rate. There is also minimum drippage once you release the trigger.

I've gone through many glue guns in the past and one of the things I love about Surebonder's glue gun is that it has a built-in stand so it stays upright. Because of this, there's less mess from glue dripping down from the nozzle vs. the older designs where the nozzle points downward and the glue just oozes out because of gravity. Don't get me wrong, glue will drip but not as much as the others. This glue gun works as it's supposed to and has 2 settings, high and low depending on what material you're working on. I also like the aesthetic design and color of Surebonder. It looks less like a toy and more like a serious crafter's tool.

I liked the holder that let's you keep up upright. The weight of the glue gun is also very light. I do like the option of having dual temperature for different projects. I did have a problem though as it doesn't indicate on the switch which side is high/low. I gave it a good review rather than great because the glue gun constantly dribbled glue when it was hot. The trigger was not depressed it was just hot and sitting upright on its stand. It did make it messy as it kept leaking hot glue and wasting it.

Just received my new surebonder glue gun. Very pleased with it so far. Had several project that needed refreshing to stay stuck on better. The glue sticks load easily. The removeable stand is a great add on from the old one I had amd and no leaking out either.

I selected this product for projects I have been wanting to do. I have limited workspace, so the idea of having something that would take up minimum space was appealing. I like the idea that if it is accidentally left on, that it has a safety fuse that shuts off the gun if it is overheating. The plastic stand has a release button on the side of the handle, so you can remove it so that it is out of your way when you are actively using your glue gun. The glue gun is light weight, yet sturdy and is comfortable in my hand. I will probably be using this item for a long, long time. I recommend it for your favorite projects and hobbies.
