When I place the spine of the book on the edge of the scanner I have a problem when I click the "transfer" button in the PlusTec software. The image that I inspected and approved after I clicked on the gray button gets cropped after I press the Transfer button. This unknowingly cropped image is what appears in the saved folder. After several tinkered retries I am able to transfer an acceptable image to the save folder. These retries consume a lot of time and increase the wear and tear on the book. This scanner is not worth all this hassel.
